You've been with Obanai for awhile now, but you haven't seen him in a couple of days which definitely concerned you. You try your best to shake that concern off throughout the days but, you do get constantly reminded about your lover in your head.

You headed out in the butterfly garden letting your legs dangle from below the pebbled filled ground. You close your eyes only to see a glimpse of the snake pillar's face in the back of your mind.

You open your eyes again, staring at the swaying bright green leaves on a tree as the wind blows a few away calmly. You let out a slightly bigger sigh, tapping your finger against your leg. Obanai.. where are you? You thought, biting half of your bottom lip nervously.

You slanted your eyes halfway closed as you heard light footsteps approaching your way. "Excuse me? L/N?" There was a soft and gentle voice that almost sounded right in your ear, along with a soft tap on your shoulder to get your attention. You open your eyes to find the insect pillar, Shinobu.

"Oh.. yes?" You clear your throat, trying to match her gentle tone. "Would you mind helping me throw away some withering flowers?" Shinobu tilted her head to the side with the same settled smile on her face.

This will at least take my mind off of things. You sit up straight. "I don't mind." You gave a small smile to Shinobu, rising to your feet. You force yourself not to drag them across the pebbled ground to help the insect pillar. "Something on your mind?" Shinobu questioned out of nowhere, catching you off guard a bit. "Ah- I um.. I guess." You stammered a bit, picking off the dead flower's stem with an exhale.

Shinobu nodded, setting the dead flower down in the basket she carried during the task. "Do you prehaps want to talk about it?" The insect pillar blinked, a bit of concern in her soft tone. You quickly shook your head, giving her a forceful smile. "I'm alright. Thank you." You speak up a bit as Shinobu looked at you for a bit before returning to her flower job.

It was silent from then on, except for the soft humming from Shinobu which soothe you a bit. In the corner of your eye, you saw a white haori with streaks of black on it. That soothing feeling didn't last very long, even though you now know Obanai's safe. Though he was with someone else. You stopped picking the flowers for a moment, narrowing your eyes.

Shinobu looked up at your face. "Is something wrong?" She asked, wiping the small dirt patches off of her hands. You rose to your feet, almost stumbling. "I'll be back." You told the insect pillar, approaching Obanai.

"Obanai." You spoke his name as he looked around his shoulder. At first, he was a bit startled at your voice. You rose your head up a bit, squinting at the snake pillar. "Where were you?" You asked him as concern took over your voice again. Obanai hid his hands in his oversized haori.

It took him a second for him to speak. You glanced over to the right as you spotted the love pillar, Mitsuri behind him. You felt a slight ache deep down in your heart somewhere. "Obanai." You said his name once again, this time a bit wavery.
