~*~ Tanjiro awoken from his dozing, adjusting his hanafuda earrings to stay straight. He took a glance at you, still fast asleep.
A small smile formed on Tanjiro's face as he inched towards you, tapping you on the leg. “Y/N..” Tanjiro said in a soft voice, nudging and shaking your body gently.
Tanjiro sat up again, trying to think of something else to awaken you. He nuzzled the left side on your body, cuddling your body affectionately.
You definitely were a heavy sleeper, meaning you could sleep through almost anything. Tanjiro gave a small forhead kiss to you with a smile, continuing to cuddle.
Tanjiro grabbed his checkered haori, spreading it on your face. No response nor reaction came from you. Tanjiro stood quiet, gently shaking your head side to side with a smile. “C'mooon you gotta wake up!” Tanjiro tapped your nose a few times.
Tanjiro left you alone a bit, glancing at your body a few times as he let out an exhale. “You didn't die on me, right Y/N?” Tanjiro let out a small chuckle, tapping your foot.
“Nope.” A small mumble came from your mouth. Tanjiro got a bit startled at your voice, giving a relieved smile towards you. “You're awake, good!” Tanjiro gave a nod. “I've been awake, silly.” You show half of your tongue as Tanjiro paused. “Really?” His voice got a bit lower, slouching in embarrassment.
“Thanks for the kiss.” You sit up, letting out a small laugh under your breath. Tanjiro gave a slow nod, rubbing his head a bit. “So, since you're awake—” You cut off Tanjiro's words by giving him a side cuddle, along with a kiss on the side of his face. “Hmm? Sorry, what were you saying?” You give a small smirk towards Tanjiro, playing with his earrings.
“I, um, haha.. no worries! Nevermind.” Tanjiro's face was flooded with a pink faded color as he let out a nervous laugh, nuzzling your free hand. You rest your head in his red and black colored hair, closing your eyes, wrapping your arms around his waist.
Tanjiro didn't mind at all, since you were always the type of person to make the first move. Plus, he didn't judge not in the slightest. He enjoyed this affection and it showed. You two were the perfect couple.
