"Do you guys know each other?" said Chris frowning.

You looked at Chris and nodded and then back at Soobin.

"it's been so long y/n" said Soobin eyes locked with yours.

A grin drawn on your face, you quickly embraced each other.

"I can't believe it, what are the chances" you said in a surprised tone.
Chris cleared his throat, making you break the hug.

"how do you guys know each other?" he asked.

"Oh, Soobin was my childhood best friend, we parted ways after middle school when they moved abroad" you explained smiling.

Soobin put his hand on your shoulder and looked at Chris.

"We were really close friends, we used to be seatmates as well. Unseparable" he said giggling.

"Oh yeah?" Said Chris eyeing both of you.

"We definitely need to catch up y/n!! it's been years.. so any news?" asked Soobin.

"She got married as you can see" said Chris pulling you by your waist.

"Oh that surprised me, well congrats I guess" answered Soobin.

You looked between them both sensing some tension but you brushed it off.

"Lemme introduce you to my members" Said Soobin

You stuttered and looked at Chris.

"Well if Chris doesn't have a problem of course" he added.

"Naur, why would I? , I'll be here with the boys y/n" said Chris kissing your temples.

You nodded and went with Soobin.

It had been years since you had last seen each other, and memories of your playful adventures and shared secrets came flooding back, igniting a sense of nostalgia within both of you.

You used to be so close, and it feels really good to be able to see Soobin again.
You've been through a lot together.
You were the shoulder he cried on when he was struggling with his abusive parents.
And he was your saver when kids bullied you in school.
You got each other's backs.
And it feels warm to meet again.

"Guys, I would like to introduce y/n my childhood best friend" said Soobin, getting the attention of 4 tall men.

All of them had a scary aura.

All of their attention is now on you.
"y/n, this is Yeonjun, this is Kai, Beomgyu and this is Taehyun."

Now their scary faces turned into sincere smiles.
All of them started shaking your hand.
You smiled back, and started chatting and laughing with them. sharing funny stories you had with Soobin.

Chris who had been observing the reunion with growing unease.
Tightly gripping his cup.
His eyes never leaving you and Soobin.
Glaring at him intensely.

"Huh is that y/n with Soobin?" asked Changbin joining Chris along with the boys.

"How do they know each other?" said Hyunjin in a confused tone.
