Jeongguk mindlessly scrolled on his phone, sitting at his desk with a notebook open of the project plan. It felt weird not having Taehyung texting him, it had been 6 hours since the boy left his room to go drinking with Jimin and he hadn't sent a text once.

Strangely, he felt even more lonely than before. He had his friends blowing up the group chat of course but it wasn't the same as texting Taehyung. The boy actually made him laugh at times and bothered him with his stupidity.

He had no one else he could talk to in university, so he had nothing else to do. He had no one to go out with or anyone to visit when he felt lonely aside from Taehyung.

Although he preferred it that way, he still hated the feeling of loneliness that came with it. He felt like he was rotting away constantly on his phone texting away to fill up his social life void.
