The play started, but wednesday was in a very bad mood he was a part of the play, but he was just labeled as "male warrior chippewa." To top it all, joel, the shy guy they have been hanging around, was playing the husband of Oleander's role. it wasn't real he knew that, and they all were unhappy with it, but it really got wednesday heated. As the play went on, he was itching  to get to the fun part on. Wednesday  was bleaming with excitement, ready to experience  the work of art him and oleander have planned. Pugsley  was a turkey, so he could have had it worse off. At least he is able to stand with Oleander until they are ready for her to cause misfortune. He watched his brother's turkey dance scene play out. He tuned out the rest of the play until it got to their part. He watched as Oleander started the scene.
Oleander walks in from the side stage she looks around to the crowd and the other campers.
She stated, "i am pocahontas a chippewa maiden." Joel spoke, " and i am running bear, betrothed to pocahontas. Only in the play." He stated the last part loudly, looking more to wednesday, who was glaring at him. Oleander continued," we have brought a special gift for this holiday feast." As she said that, pugsley walked up in his turkey costume. Pugsley stated, " i am a turkey. Kill me." Wednesday tunes out everyone else and watches Oleander added," thank you, Sarah Miller. You're the most beautiful person I've ever seen. Your hair is the color of the sun, your skin is like fresh milk,and everyone loves you." Amanda loves the attention and asks everyone to sit. Oleander remarked,"Wait,we can not break bread wirh you. You have taken the land, which is rightfully ours. Years from now on, my people will be forced to live in mobile homes on reservations.your people will wear cardigans and drink highballs.we will sell our bracelets by the roadsides. You will play golf and enjoy hot hers d'oeuvres. My people will have pain and degradation. Your people will have stick shifts. The gods of my tribe have spoken. They have said," Do not trust the pilgrims,especially sarah Miller." And for all these reasons, i have decided to scalp you and burn your village to the ground." Wednesday lets out a indian war cry and leads the other kids to destroy the set with fire. Two boys grab Amanda  as everyone else starts running away. They tie her to a pole and oleander with wednesday walk up to her as Oleander is given matches wednesday steps back. As Oleander is left alone in front of Amanda, a can of gas next to Oleander's feet rolls to the pole and pours out around Amanda. The matches in Oleander's hand lights on its own and is blown out of her grasp into the gas that has poured out. as the fire starts wednesday walks up to her and takes her hand both smiling at the chaos made.
