*two months after the walk of fame event*

Patrick and Ellen have texted a few times while he was in Canada and now that he is back in LA he wants to see her again but he doesn't know which excuse to invent for Jillian

He is also looking forward easter because Talula will finally be back home from college for three weeks, he doesn't have anything planned and he can't wait to have his big girl back.

Some days he just misses her so much, they all do... even the twins, they have always been so attacked to their big sister.

Patrick is having breakfast wirh his family when suddenly his phone rings

"hello" he answers the phone

*no answer*

"hello, it's Patrick, who is talking?" he repeats

"I need money, you may want to give them to me if you don't want me to destroy you" a deep voice says

"what?" Patrick frowns

"I have informations that could destroy your life, but if you give me money no one will suffer from it”

"why would I give you money?”

"I told you, I have informations that could ruin your life"

"what informations are you talking about? who are you even?" Patrick asks confused

"I am someone who lost his job because of you" the man finally says

Patrick starts thinking about who it might be, when suddenly he realizes

the only person who hates him that much is the actor who plaid dr. Burke. He hated him from the beginning since he had applied for Derek Sheperd's role too but Patrick was chosen instead and they gave him another role

but he hated him even more after Patrick had punched him to defend a gay castmate from an homophobic comment he had made

"Isaiah, is that you?"

the voice doesn't answer

"give me the money or I will ruin your life"

"I won't give you any money untill you tell me who you are and what would be this information that could ruin my life"

the other part ends the call and Patrick goes back to his family even more scared than he was during the call

"who was it?" Jillian asks when she sees how shocked he is

"I- I don't know, but they asked me for money and they said they have informations that could ruin my life"

"you didn't give them any money did you?" Jillian asks worried

"no, of course not and I don't even know what informations they were talking about"

"maybe it was a joke" Sullivan suggests

"yeah, a phone prank... we did it to my teacher and it was so funny" Darby giggles

"well don't do that ever again Darby, it's not funny when you recieve it. Does it look like your dad is having fun?" Jillian reproaches him

"no, sorry" Darby apologizes

"it's okay, we have all done it, just don't do it again or at least do something soft and don't actually scare people okay?" Patrick reassures him

Darby nods

minutes later they have all finished breakfast and Patrick was still sitted on the chair absorbed in his tougths

he had never done anything that bad, his biggest secret is Ellen but the only few people who know, he would trust them with his life and there were no proofs otherwise they would have already came out

"it's sunny, do you want to take our bikes and forget about that stupid call that probably didn't mean anything?" Darby intterupts his toughts

"yeah" he nods

"okay let's go"

Darby always loved spending time with his father, whenever he was at home he spent as much time as possible with him

"Sully do you want to come?" Patrick tries to include him

"no thanks"

Patrick knows that Sullivan is more quiet than Darby but he can't help but feel a little disappointed

He loves all his kids equally for sure but bonding with Sullivan has always been a little more difficult than it is with Darby and Talula.

He decides to just enjoy his bike ride with Darby and maybe think about something else to have alone time with Sullivan too, he doesn't want to neglect one of his kids just because he is a little more shy
