"i am so done with my life." y/n groaned and dropped her phone onto the floor.

joão chuckled, "you'll be fine."

"how do you know that?" y/n turned her body and laid on her back, staring up at joão.

the two were at joão's hotel room to talk about everything that happened as y/n laid on the couch joão stood by. joão's hotel room consisted of a huge bathroom, a living room, kitchen, and one big bedroom. everything in the room was kept tidy and clean.

"i just do" joão shrugged and sat on the arm of the couch.

"wow," y/n sarcastically said. "enough about me, how are you? i feel like i never ask you that."

"i'm good. feeling better now that you're here." he said with a playful smirk.

y/n smacked him, "shut up."

"you know, the usual: magui manages to yell at me through text messages and i ignore her." joão continued.

"why don't you leave her, joão? your life would be so much better." y/n commented.

joão shook his head, "people will think i left her to be with you. i'm not letting you get into that sort of drama; you don't need it."

"that's really sweet of you but you can't keep suffering like this." y/n sat up. "wouldn't you rather be bombarded with questions about me than suffer with her?"

joão laughed, "sure. i'll see, i'll talk to her soon."

y/n put a hand on his shoulder, "do what's best for you. you're smart and responsible so, you'll know."

joão nodded. "you hungry?"

"i'm always in the mood for food"
