the duo sat together at a table eating their food. joão and y/n both ordered pasta. they had drinks in their hand which consisted of red wine. y/n tried her best not to drink too much but it was a little difficult.
"how many cups have you had already?" joão watched y/n sip from her cup.
"i don't know. maybe like three?" y/n laughed a little. joão leaned over and took the cup away from her. for extra measures, he hid the wine bottle under the table.
a waitress came by with another bottle and before she could speak joão said, "no thank you"
"come on," y/n dragged the 'on'. she rolled her eyes and said, "you're so boring."
"and you're drunk. why do you do this to yourself?" joão sighed. "do you know your way to the hotel? you can't go by yourself"
"i'm pretty sure it's across the street." y/n tried her best to remember where the hotel was. she shrugged.
"it's definitely not," joão rolled his eyes.
y/n smiled at him. "i guess you'll have to take me there; i love spending time with you!"
joão bit his lip and shook his head, "you're so drunk. i'll ask for the bill and then we're leaving"
