I slowly opened my eyes and woke up, noticing Minji's body wasn't on top of mine. Did she wake up already? I looked around, hearing a humming sound coming from the kitchen. I sat up and walked towards the familiar voice and saw Minji following a recipe from her phone and trying to bake what looked like French macarons.

Soon, she noticed my presence and instantly smiled, dashing to me and kissing my cheek. I hugged her and kissed her back, looking at the macarons in awe.

"Did you really make this??"

"Yup! I almost burnt them, but they turned out well. Can you tell me if the vanilla buttercream is good?"

I watched her move her finger to slightly dip it inside a bowl of the cream and bring it to my lips. I opened my mouth and licked the frosting, instantly humming in approval. I kissed her lips and she slightly tasted the cream, also humming in satisfaction.

"Oh wow, I made it good!"

"Good job baby, I never knew you were so good at baking!"

"I actually used to bake a lot when I was home alone, but it's my first time trying macarons."

"You should be my little baker from now on."

"Oh please, I can do more than baking and you know it~"

She teasingly stuck her tongue out and walked towards the baked macarons, filling the buttercream inside a piping bag. I adoringly watched her spread the frosting on the macarons and make little sandwiches, just like a professional.

Once she was done, she took one macaron and tried it, widening her eyes and happily jumping. She quickly rushed to me and let me try it as well, waiting for my reaction. I widened my eyes and smiled, nodding my head.

"These are so good!? Oh my god, good job baby!"

Minji happily squealed and hugged me, giving me numerous of kisses. I hugged her waist and smiled, suddenly getting an idea. I pulled out the hug and ran to get my phone.

"Should we tell the others that you made macarons?"

"Yes! I want them to try the macarons too."

I happily dialed Bora first and called her over. I was about to call Handong, but suddenly our front door got opened by Siyeon. Surprisingly, the others were all already awake and behind her. Like a little squad, pfft. They rushed to the kitchen to see the macarons and they all gasped in shock.

"You made these!?"

"You bet I did!"

Siyeon quickly grabbed a macaron to taste it, dramatically gasping and putting her hand over her mouth. She widened her eyes and pointed at the macaron she was holding, shaking her head with a big smile.

"This is so fucking good!"

Minji happily clapped with her hands and handed a few macarons to everyone. Their reaction was no different than Siyeon's as they were all showering Minji with compliments. I sat on a barstool while leaning my head on the palm of my head, loving the lively atmosphere.. I'll miss my friends.

"Do you guys want to drink tonight?"

I uttered out of nowhere, making everyone stare at me in silence. Bora almost chocked on her macaron and cheered, clapping with her hands in shock.

"If Yoohyeon is the one wanting to drink, we must drink! Let's go buy stuff for tonight, Minji will pay."

Bora said and hid behind Siyeon, making Minji scoff in disbelief. Bora quickly rushed out the kitchen while being chased by Minji and we were just chuckling at how cute they looked.
