"There's no way I just heard that right. Kim Minji wanting to learn guitar? From you? And saying 'please'? TO YOU?"

It was lunch break and I was sitting with Handong and Bora in the canteen, eating the school's surprisingly good food. Well, more like trying to eat it, since these two can't stop asking me the same questions.

"How many more times am I supposed to tell you? I'm serious! Why would I lie about that?"

"It's not that we don't believe you hun, it's just so not like... Minji. Are you sure she didn't hit your head with something and now you have memory loss?"

"No, Handong! Ugh, even you don't believe me! I'm out."

I saw Handong and Bora pout like little kids but I couldn't believe them right then. Why would they think I was lying about this? Ugh, so annoying. I got up from my chair and turned around to leave until... Well... shit.

"What the fuck- ... Yoohyeon?"

"Oh my god- Minji, I'm so sorry!"

Well, shit. I accidentally bumped into Minji and now all her food was spilled all over her. I'm in so much trouble that today might be my death day. It's too soon for me I haven't said my goodbyes yet and my brother doesn't know. There's no way I'm gonna die without him knowing about this I'm actually so-

"You little- *sigh* I-It's fine- are you okay though?"

-alive? Wait what? She was not mad? She was stuttering like crazy, maybe I hurt her but she's trying to be nice for once, that's too good to be true. But I think I forgot how to speak that moment because I could hear Bora whispering, telling me to answer Minji. I blinked a few more times before processing the situation and I coughed to get back to my senses.

"I- yeah! I'm fine, there's nothing wrong!"

"Uhm.. But you have food all over your uniform.."

"No, I don't."

"Yes, you do..?"

"Okay fine, maybe I do.."

I could hear the person behind her audibly trying to hold in their laughter. I slightly tilted my body to look at who was behind Minji and to my surprise it was her best friend - Lee Siyeon.

"Not trying to interrupt, but you two look like absolute idiots right now."

Siyeon said, popping out from behind Minji and smiling like a kid. She held out her hand for a handshake and oh wow, it felt like I shook hands with a cloud. Her hands were so soft and warm that I smiled to myself and she did too.

"Let me properly introduce myself. I'm Lee Siyeon, glad we finally met! This one talked about you a bit ago but that doesn't matter right now, want me to escort you to the bathroom so you can clean yourself?"

"Sure, that's fin- Wait, what? What did you say? Minji did what?"

"Wow, she was right- You really do ask a lot of questions!"

Siyeon pulled me towards the exit, leaving the others in trance. Thankfully, the bathroom wasn't too far from the canteen and there weren't many people there because it's a spot for a lot of smokers, though, I didn't mind the smell.

She opened the bathroom door and then leaned her back on one of the sinks to face me and pulled out a pack of cigarettes with a lighter. I forgot that she smokes cigarettes, no, she literally makes them with her father.
