I was walking back home hand in hand with Yoohyeon when I noticed a poster where they were looking for musicians for a gig. I took a closer look and saw it was organized by none other than Gahyeon. I pointed at the poster and dragged Yoohyeon with me to show it to her.

"Hey baby, do you feel like performing before you go? Only if you're ready of course."

"I'd love to actually- but~ I do have one condition."

"Which is?"

She stood infront of me and placed her hand on my shoulder, leaning closer and placing her other hand on my chest with her finger pointing at me and smiling.

"We perform together."

I widened my eyes and shook my head in instant denial. I have never performed before and I had stage fright too, so there was no way I'd do it.

"Aw~ come on! I promise it's not as scary as you think it is. We'll be together so there's nothing to be scared of!"

"Yoohyeon, I love you with my whole heart, but I can't do it. I'm too afraid that I'd mess up the moment I step on stage. I'm not fit to be there as much as you are."

"You serious right now? Jiu, you were made for the stage! I've seen you play AND sing and I can proudly say thay you have what it takes to do great."

"I dont know Hyeon.. I'm not as good with the guitar as you.."

"Then we don't have to play the guitar on stage. We can record the melody for the producers to play as a backtrack and we can only sing. Please?~"

She looked at me with her puppy eyes and pouty lips that always make me just want to squish her and shower her with love. I couldn't believe it.. but I fell for her pleadings yet again.

"*sigh* Alright, fine~ We'll do it.."

She immediately hugged me and kissed my cheek, making me laugh at how excited she looked. I wasn't as confident as her, but if we were together, I'm sure we'd do just fine.

She immediately dialed Gahyeon's number and put it on speaker so I could listen as well.

"Hey Gahyeon! It's me, Yooh."

"Yoohyeon!? I'm so happy to hear from you! What's up?"

"Minji saw your poster and we thought about taking part in your gig to sing. Do you have any spots for two people?"

"Wait- both you AND Minji? Is this like a special surprise thing because if it is, I'm immediately adding your names on the list!"

"That's awesome!- But wait, when's the performance going to happen?"

"Since you guys will probably be the last ones performing so.. 7 PM on May 17th."

Both me and Yoohyeon paused for a second after hearing the date and stared at eachother with blank expressions. I scratched my neck and shrugged, thinking that we just got unlucky and slowly walked away, but Yoohyeon quickly grabbed my wrist and wrapped her arm over my shoulders.

"Count us in!"

I widened my eyes and almost protested, but Gahyeon's happy cheer stopped me.

"That's amazing! See you in a week then. Call me if anything happens."

"Sure will. Bye bye Gah!"

She hung up the phone and saw the bewildered look on my face. I was more than confused by what she just did and I was ready to argue about it.
