NEXT MORNING

7:54 AM / KYH

"Yooh, where's Minji?"

"She's almost here, don't worry."

I sat next to Bora and took out my books from my bag. I got to school earlier and got flooded with worried and curious students and they didn't stop asking me questions and giving me comeback gifts. I never expected my absence to be noticed by a lot of people and everyone to be so worried about me. I couldn't lie, I was pretty surprised and touched deeply.

I took a sip from the strawberry milk I got from one classmate and waited for a certain someone to enter the classroom with a smile. Bora noticed my weird behavior and called me out for it.

"Did something happen between you and Minji?"

"Oh it did. A lot happened."

"Okay now I'm curious."

"You'll see when she gets here."

Right as I said that, the door got opened and Minji popped up. I tried to hide my laughter by pursing my lips and that annoyed Minji a lot.

Minji looked like she'd stumble down any moment and couldn't stand up straight without her legs shaking. She had to hold on to the wall for support to not fall. I cheekily smiled at her and mouthed "I love you" and showed her a heart but she wasn't having any of it and pointed her middle finger at me, making me finally burst out laughing.

I watched her slowly go to her desk and wince the moment she sat on her chair. I turned my gaze towards Bora and she just stood there shocked after realizing what I meant by a lot happened.

"What the fuck did you do to the poor girl..?"

"Nothing much, really, she just can't stand properly because of how good I was with my hands."

"I know I'm your best friend, but that was too much information."

"You shouldn't have asked then."

"You got a point."

The teacher soon entered the room and started the lesson. I carefully listened in class, taking as many notes as I could and helped Bora understand the harder exercises because the new teacher wasn't exactly the best at teaching.

I took a few glances at Minji and surprisingly, she was also listening in class and writing in her book. I found it adorable every time she squinted her nose whenever she couldn't understand the things he was saying, it was like her cute charm.

Every time we made eye contact, she'd pretend to be mad but smiled the moment she turned her head towards the window. I wanted the class to end soon so I could talk to her. I already missed hearing her voice. I was just that whipped for her.

The bell rang and most students left the classroom to go to their next classed while I got up and sat on Minji's desk. I handed her some of the strawberry milk I left for her to drink and waited for her to finish it before starting a conversation with her.

"So Jiu, how are you feeling?"

"Other than the immaculate amount of sore muscle pain, fatigue and backache, all good."

"Did you take the aspirin I left you?"

"I did, but it didn't help much. I still feel like there's a fucking brick inside me."

"That's one way to say it I guess."

I made sure that no one was looking at us and leaned in for a kiss on her cheek. Minji tilted her head to accept my kiss and smiled, caressing my hand and using it as support to stand up. I carefully held her by her waist and she stretched her hands up in the air and moved around a bit. She put her hands behind her lower back and exhaled, fixing her skirt and sitting back down.
