"Hi Y/n." my dad said as he walked in my room, I woke up slowly.
"God dad, it's 7:00 AM on a saturday." I said as I put the pillow on my head.
"Baby, I need you to do me a favor, my job wants me to bring you over for a father daughter day you know, then you can see what I have been working on!" he exclaimed.
I sat up from my bed and glared at him, "Did I mention it is 7:00 AM. On a SATURDAY!"
He nodded, "Baby, please."
I groaned and got up.

I never knew much about what my dad worked as, it wasn't until we arrived at a huge tall building in the middle of nowhere I kind of freaked, especially on how secluded this place was, it had gates that could only be opened by Identification, barbed wires that were electric so nothing can escape, there was so much security everywhere.
"Dad, what are you?" I asked.
"A scientist." he finally said.
I raised a brow, "And what is this?"
"Ever heard of Area 51?" he asked as he finished his design on the tablet, I nodded, "Think of it like that."
My eyes widened, no.
"So what? You work with aliens or something?" I asked.
He chuckled, "Baby no, that was like old jobs back in the day! We do more bigger tasks, like opening portals to other dimensions!" Holy fuck. My stomach dropped, I did not expect that.
"So what am I here for?" "Because darling, I just want you to see." I nodded, "Okay then.."
As we walked in the large building, no one even looked at us, everyone was so focused on their work or getting to work, this place was like an army for robots or something, there was no decroation, just white and papers everywhere.
Finally we walked down some stairs to the basement.
"We're almost there!" my dad exclaimed happily as we walked through a bunch of labs.
Finally we reached a metal door, he scanned his ID and let us in, I was in a room of a huge portal.
I gasped, "Dad- what- is this?!?" I asked as I spun around, taking everything in with amazement.
