I was shocked at the compliment. Meanwhile I was also wondering how beauty could get me into the palace.
I moved my hand in how posture.
She scanned out my facial features and then down to my body stature with a grin and continued, "you can go in there as a prostitute, the royals shall be pleased to have you"

My orbs bulged out as I widened my eyes in terror. My body shivered at the statement she just presented nonchalantly. My throat started to dry up and I wanted to scream at her my refusal but I reluctantly smiled at her and nodded.
Before I could runaway from her, she further added another piece of information, "tomorrow is your day, once every five days women gather in central ground and selected by the royals. I am sure they will choose you"she smiled again.
I bowed at her again as a silent thank you for the information and quickly stepped back in fright. I couldn't believe my ears. I couldn't do that at all.
I felt like all hope was gone. I walked back towards our portal cabin when I heard someone screaming through my earphones, "leave me alone!, leave me alone I said"
I searched for where the screams were coming from and my heart started to race when I saw the man who saved my life, standing sternly behind a cottage.
"My lord! This man has stolen jewels from the sheikh", a man wearing the army outfit dragging another man towards him who was screaming in terror.
I lurked behind a stack of mud utensils placed by the side of the cottage and started observing him. I kept wandering my vision in all directions so that no one would notice me.

The royal man and my savior nodded and commanded, "leave him to me now. You can go get back to your duty"
"As you wish majesty" he bowed at him and smirked at the thief before leaving.
The man turned to the thief and said, "what did I told you last time?"
Felt like he had known him very well.
"To not get caught", the thief's voice lowered. He sighed and looked down.
The royal man hummed at his answer as it was the correct answer and why he didn't obey the order.
My jaw dropped in shock ,*what kind of king allows a thief in his own city to steal and also not get caught*
"Go hide somewhere for sometime" he ordered him and the thief left bowing at him, "your highness"

I was flabergasted and I didn't even realized I was leaning my body on the stack of utensil which fell off the ground due to my weight and brought the royal man's attention towards me.
*Oh no!*
I was frightened and as I intended to run back he called out for me, "heyy!"
I gulped the lump forming in my throat.
My body was frozen in place. I was lucky last time he left me but I had messed up this time. Running away wasnot an option, it would probably increase the suspicion on me.

I turned around and slowly walked towards him. I was super nervous.
"Ree woohta?" He asked the same words again, but in a softer tone this time and it meant 'who are you?' when translated through the earphones.
I signaled with my hands that I came here from far away.
He did the same. He signaled me with what was I doing there, trying to communicate with me. He was very pro at that. His motions were cute. I adored them but my smile followed by an intrinsic chuckle which took him off guard and the pleasant expression on his face changed into anger.
"Are you making fun of me?" He roared.
I signaled with both of my hands, "No!"
"Are you spying on me?"
"Nooo!"
"Can you understand me?" His anger subsided.
I nodded.
"Who are you?"
The signaling thing was stressing me out and I needed to communicate with him properly. I quickly changed the settings of my right earphone to translate English into their language, trying not to amaze him much by the 3D projections from the bracelet looking watch. He kept staring at me. I removed the earphone from my ear and as I was about to insert it into his, he quickly held my hand in midway. I forced against his grip and pulled the earphone closer to his ear and said, "Can you hear me?" It was working as I felt the vibration on my fingers.
His stare travelled from my face towards the earphone and then stared at me harder.
"What is it?" He asked while I tried to focus on my left earphone to understand him.

I pushed my hand again closer to his right ear and said, "trust me"
His eyes bulged out in shock and left the grip on my hand. I inserted the earphone carefully into his ear, he tried to stop himself from resistance. He winced as my hand touched the side of his cheek.
I got embarrassed, pulled my hand immediately and spoke again, "Can you hear me now?" with a smile.

"What is it?", he asked and lifted his hand again intending to take it out.
I halted his hand by holding it, "no, don't remove it. You can communicate with me through that"
He stared at my hand holding his and I quickly pulled my hand back.
"It is a.. uhh ... magical stone. A sorcerer in our place gave this to me. It translates languages. I have another one my ear. That's how I could understand you" I showed him the other earphone and put it back. Technically it wasn't a total lie, it was magical in a sense and Divesh was the sorcerer.

He kept staring at me and again we both got trapped in an eye contact contest, which went longer this time.

Suddenly, I went out of the dream world and remembered I had to head back. I walked in backward direction, "I have to go"
"No, wait"
I ignored his command and turned to walk faster and get away from him. I was overwhelmed by his gaze and continuously thinking what was happening to me.
I didn't see another man walking infront of me and I collided with him. He had a basket full of crushed wood which fell down to the ground.
"Are you blind?!"
I started to collect his woods for him. I looked back in the direction of the cottage and found the royal man standing there and watching me. I could clearly make out the smirk on his face.

I quickly walked away and got back to the portal with heavy breathing.
Richard gave me a querying look and I stated, "no one is allowed to get into the palace but the royals and its army"

Charles sighed in disappointment and said, "we must think harder"
I looked at Divesh who was giving me a long smirk. I could read his mind. He had seen me by his flying insects. But I couldn't understand the reason of smirk, whether it was the woman telling me to be a prostitute or was it meeting the royal man.

His smirk glowed my mind bulb.
"Actually, we can!" I announced.
