"I'm not going anywhere" you said to Jungkook as he hugged you instantly and very tightly. You both didn't have any fear of people watching as both of you cried holding each other.

"Thank you for coming" he said between his sobs as you tried to console him.

"How could I not? I'm not gonna leave you alone... don't worry." You say as he pulls apart from you and you cup his cheeks holding his face which has gone colorless. He smelled of sweat and his face was covered in stains of dried tears.

"Jungkook... the children need you" you tell him as he keeps wiping his tears but they don't stop flowing.

"What do I tell them? I still can't believe it... please tell me its not true. Please..." he says losing control over his emotions.

"I know its very hard... I know..." You said caressing his hair.

"I'd stopped imagining a life without her. Now not even imagining. I have to actually live in a reality where she doesn't exists. I can't...." his shoulders shake as you know his cries come from a very deep place inside. All the other people in the room slowly left leaving you both alone. Somehow they realised you were the only one who could help and understand Jungkook at this time.

"We gotta show Ria and Yejun how life has to go on. We don't have to tell them but show them how to deal with this loss. I know they're very little and Dahyun was the one who was always with them... it'll be very hard for them but now they've to grow up to know how to grow up without a mother. But not having their mother beside them doesn't means they're alone in this world. You're there and I'm here..."

"Please stay..." he begs you with helplessness indicated in his eyes. He was fearful as he had come to face his worst fears.

"I will stay here for as long as you need me..." You assure him that he's not alone. "For now let's go talk to them... they need you Jungkook. For them you've to be strong..." You tell him stroking his head very gently and affectionately. He walks with you to the room where Ria and Yejun were sleeping. He sat beside them when you brought him a sandwich. He refused to eat but you somehow managed to feed it to him and then gave him two to three glasses of water.

"You wanna take a shower. Clear your head while you do so?" You ask him when he nods in yes. You give him a towel and a pair of clothes when he goes in there.

"Do you think they're coping through sleep?" He asks.

"Whatever gets them through this let them do it..." You tell him when he lays down on the bed with his whole body aching.

"You want a painkiller?" He muttered a little "yes" as he closed his eyes for the first time in three days.

"It's all gonna be okay" you tell him as he tries to sleep. You went to the kitchen to make something and when you returned the kids slept on both sides of Jungkook clinging to him as if they're afraid of losing him.

"Is mom never going to come back?" Yejun asks when you walk inside the room and sit on the edge of the bed.

"Yes baby but..." You fall short of words as he stares at you with his innocent doe eyes. He hugs you feeling overwhelmed by his thoughts as he tries hard to conceive the situation as much as he possibly can.

Jungkook wakes up from his light sleep as he couldn't sleep deeply and held Yejun close to himself on his chest when Ria woke up from her light daze and hugged him too.

"Dad..." She whispers holding him as he caresses both of them trying to keep them both close to himself.

"I'm right here... right here.. you're not alone okay?"
