You try to walk faster trying to match their speed but you fail to do so when your sister walks away leaving you behind panting. When Jungkook notices you're absent he comes running back towards your direction.

"Are you fine?" He asks and you nod.

"Dahyun I think we should walk slower. Look the scenery is so nice it's a shame to pass by all of it so quick." You look at him speaking as she surely feels jealous because he left her alone to tend to you. She sighs before walking towards you both.

"I'm feeling quite hungry, I'll go back. You three can come later." She says in frustration pointing at you, Jungkook and his brother who is still walking ahead without looking back even once.

"I will walk around more. It's my first time being here and I don't get many leaves from work to explore such places." Jungkook says raising his eyebrows at her.

"You can do as you wish" Dahyun said before leaving to go back to the house.

Jungkook walks ahead with his brother in between the both of you.

"Hyung is it okay if I go to that massage centre, give me a call when you're returning back." He says to both of yours hidden happiness.

"Oh yeah sure... go enjoy" Jungkook looks back at you with a smirk and you fail to control a smile that appears on your face.

"Turns out we're alone now" He says and you walk ahead of him but he holds your hand stopping you.

"Take me to the most peaceful spot of this place" He says and you look around as you feel watched even when there's nobody who cares about you.

"I should take you there" You walk with him slowly as you both can't stop from glancing at each other every minute. His hand grazes the insides of your wrist and you pull away folding your hands near your chest.

You both reach the base of the waterfall where the lake begins and stand looking at the water flowing amidst the quiet.

"I have something for you" his words drum in your ears. You turn towards him. He holds a bracelet in his hand.

"What is this now?" You ask him.

"I know the gift I gave you last night, you didn't like it a lot so I brought you something that I think will suit your taste."

"This wasn't necessary" You say as he takes your hand and slides the silver bracelet on your wrist.

"Thanks" You say with a smile as you step back from him keeping a safe distance between you two.

You remove the bracelet and keep it in your pocket to avoid questions when you go back home. You don't own any precious jewellery bought on your own so I would raise suspicions from your sister and you know she always gets what she wants. She will somehow manage to know who gave it to you.

He respects your space and doesn't comes closer.

"What are you so afraid of?" He asks you.

"She'll ruin me if I take any risks with you. I have worked hard to get where I'm today"

"You are independent now"

"I bear their name Jungkook, you won't understand. I was 12 when my birth parents threw me out of the house saying I was old enough to look after myself. If not for them god knows what might have happened to me or the things I would've had to do to sustain myself" You explain to him as you turn back to walk back home. No longer in the mood to take him to the place you meant to.

"Wait..." He says taking your name to stop you.

"Please understand..." You request in a begging way.

"Will you come near the lake tonight? I just want to talk with you for once."

"Just talk?" You ask him if he's sure about it, that he wouldn't attempt anything else.

"Yes just talk. I promise." He says with a genuine look in his eyes. You knew he had his own boundaries holding him back from getting what his heart actually wants just like you.

"Okay, I'll come" You say with a tiny smile as you both walk on your own ways. You walk ahead while he goes to fetch his brother.

You watch Dahyun talking with some strangers when you reach the house. They must be the photographers, it occurs to you. You try to make up a statement to convince her into doing a modest photoshoot.

"Hello sister" You go near her faking a smile to which she frowns at you.

"Why the ugly face? Did your fiancè not satisfy you last night?" You ask trying to enrage her.

"Oh no he filled me up so many times I'm afraid I'll get pregnant" She retorts back.

"So now you want to show the world what belongs to him? Isn't all of this a sacred entity only for him to see now?" You point through your gaze at her exposed body from under her shrug she had put on over the bikini. As expected she hugged the cloth closer to her body and ran to her room.

You laughed when she went away. It felt nice to trouble her like this sometimes.
