CHAPTER 14- NON-DATE

I was feeling like a giant rock had been kept on my shoulders for the past two weeks and today it was no longer there. I was so relieved that my exams were over. Well, it was just my semi finals but still it was a relief.

I picked my bag from my desk as I proceeded outside the classroom after writing my last exam. My main subjects have been very kind to me where as Maths has been a pain in my ass and as my Maths exam was over today I felt happy.

The whole school was silent as only senior students have their exams today and that too of Maths optional only. I went to Room No. 17 to wait for Ira but as I reached there, she was already coming to me.

"How was the exam bro? ", I asked as she approached me.

" Umm... I'll pass? ", she told me but her answer sounded more like a question. We then started moving towards my Scooty.

" You'll be fine. ", I assured her and I was not wrong. She was good at studies.

" What about you? "

"Good.", I told her and she raised her brows as if doubting me. She knew that I was good at all the subjects except this stupid one.
" Well...As good as Maths can be. ", I then added and she nodded. Then we both grinned.

" Hey Ella!" , someone shouted and we both instantly stopped. I knew he wasn't someone, I could recognize his voice in a crowd of thousands. Saaransh caught up to us and three of us started moving.

"Hii", I replied.

" How was your exam guys? ", he asked excitedly. I was sure by looking at him that he has a good one today and that made me happy. If it were someone else I would have probably felt jealous of them because marks were really important to me but I found it weird that for him I was truly happy.

" Good. ", I said.

" Mine was fine too", replied Ira.

"You know what guys? I have a great exam today. I am so happy.", he was so happy that I and Ira were both smiling.

" I am happy for you. ", I said expressing my true thoughts.
Ira also congratulated him.

We finally reached my Scooty and I then realized that Ira would have to go alone today because Sam wasn't present and they both usually went in Sam's car.

" How are you gonna go today? " I asked her, a little concerned.

"I'll pick some Rickshaw."

"Come with me. I'll drop you. ", I told her not waiting for her answer and giving her a helmet.

" But it would waste your time cuz my home is on the opposite direction. ", she protested. But before I could say anything, Aryan approached us.

" I'll drop you, if you are okay with it. I am going the same direction. ", he suggested.

Of course he was going the same direction and I knew he was lying just to drop Ira home. But before Ira could refuse him by saying anything I encouraged her.

" It would be great. Go babe. ", I pushed her slightly towards Aryan's bike.
