Britt walked into her house after a long day of traveling. Dynamite had been in California the night earlier and while she had planned to take a red eye her flight had been delayed till five in the evening the next day. As she noticed the light on in her kitchen she questioned it for a moment. She pushed her suitcases towards the stairs before she heard paws padding towards her.

"What are you doing here?" She commented as Ripley walked closer. Toni was supposed to have her until she came and got the dog.

"Well hello there gorgeous." The words came from behind her and she immediately stopped and turned on her heels not believing her ears. When she turned around she blinked seeing Alex leaning against the wall that led into the living room. There was no hesitation as she just about ran towards him, smashing into him as she engulfed him in a tight hug.

"I-Wha-How?!" She couldn't form a clear sentence. It had been a little over three weeks since his procedure but his last evaluation they had said that he wasn't ready to go home yet.

"I might have stretched the truth slightly." He could feel her hit his side before her lips firmly pressed to his cheek. "I missed you." She pulled away slightly. Her eyes met his for a moment, a smile appearing along his lips. She couldn't help herself. Her lips pressed to his briefly.

"I know I shouldn't have but fuck me I couldn't help myself." His lips connected with hers. They both knew that he really shouldn't be in contact with her for a few days since she had just flown but neither cared.

"What the doctors don't know won't kill me. But not kissing you will." He could see her cheeks turn lightly red. "How was your flight?"

"It was awful so you have no idea how happy I am to have you here to chill out with." As she spoke she melted into him her face burying into his chest. Gently his lips pressed to the top of her head.

"At least your delay worked in my favor." She nodded at his words before a long sigh left her lips. "Food or sleep Britt?"

"Food definitely." She mumbled into his shirt still not pulling away.

"Put your feet on mine." Her chin moved to rest along his chest as she looked up at him confused. "Just trust me." She sat there for a moment staring at him before her feet carefully moved to rest atop his. His arms wrapped protectively around her shoulders before he shuffled towards her couch. She couldn't help the laughter that escaped her lips as he walked her around like a penguin.

"You are so fucking adorable." She commented earning a chuckle and a shake of his head.

"That would be you gorgeous." He said as they stopped at the couch. She looked up at him.

"Trust me?" He instantly nodded before in one fell swoop he was taken down and into the couch. He blinked looking at her for a moment before she was instantly cuddling into him. As her legs tangled with his, his arms wound around her. "Oh my god yes." She commented as her face buried into his chest.

Both of them had been craving more physical contact than the simple hand hold that they had, had in the hospital. A long sigh escaped his lips as his fingertips slowly began to move along her spine. She adjusted carefully before her lips pressed to his jaw and then his cheek.

"Fuck food, this is what I need." His head turned and she felt his lips lightly pressed against her forehead.

"Totally agree gorgeous." He said softly. "Though next time all you have to say is you need a cuddle." Her lips pressed to the skin along his neck, her head nodding before it tucked into him.

"That was just more fun." He chuckled lightly before his fingertips slowly began to draw shapes along her back. A sigh left her lips. Though it was nearing a month since they first admitted their feelings they truly hadn't gotten a moment to just enjoy each other's company.

What was making this even better was the fact that she truly got to see his soft side. His nose gently nuzzled into her hair, his lips just barely grazing her skin. His one arm stayed carefully around her making sure she wouldn't fall off of him or the couch, his free hand however was trailing along her spine and arm. She couldn't help but just melt into him.

Carefully he turned taking her with him. She couldn't help but love the fact that she was engulfed by his warmth as he lightly pressed her against the cushions on the back of the couch. His hand moved to rest along her side, right at the curve of her hip.

"You are a big teddy bear." He chuckled at her words before his lips pressed to her temple.

"I thought you already knew that." She nodded before her lips pressed to his neck drawing goosebumps along his skin.

"I did. But I'm seeing even more of that side of you and...." When she paused he looked down at her, his eyes meeting hers.

"And?" Her lips pressed to his.

"It makes me never want to leave." His lips lightly ghosted along her forehead.

"So what you're saying is I'm stuck with you?" Her head tucked into his neck before she nodded. A chuckle escaped his lips. "Well damn.... Isn't that just awful." His tone was completely sarcastic and she couldn't help but laugh.

"Mmmhmmm it is. You're stuck with me stealing your warmth, hoodies and flannels." He eyed her for a moment.

"So that's where all of my stuff has been disappearing to." He could see her cheeks and ears flush red. "I honestly don't care. I just know where to look now when I'm missing something."

"They're mine now." He chuckled as he shook his head. "They are."

"You have about eighty percent of my closet. What would you like me to wear?" Out of the corner of his eye he could see her smirk and he knew his choice of words could lead to many answers. Alex couldn't help but bite his lower lip at Britt's next words.

"Nothing is fine by me."
