Alex just about burst into Britt's house. Before she could even question him his phone was dropped into her lap. She picked it up reading the text on the screen. Within seconds she was smashing him into a hug. His arms wrapped around her waist as her fingers laced in his hair.

"That's real right?" She asked before she felt him nod. Her arms tightened around him as her head turned and her lips pressed to his cheek. "This is fucking amazing Alex." She said just as she noticed him turning red from her previous action.

"It's a damn relief that's what it is." She pulled away so she could look at him. Their eyes met and both of them realized just how close they were. Britt's hands unconsciously slipped to his jaw as his moved to her hips. Her thumbs ran along his cheeks and she could see him fight the fact that his eyes wanted to close. As he composed himself she felt his thumbs slip beneath her shirt that had ridden up. She lightly felt his touch along her skin.

As much as she wanted to push him to do something she knew better. Her lower lip slipped between her teeth and she could see his eyes flick away from hers for a moment. When her fingertips lightly pressed against the back of his neck he unconsciously took a step closer to her closing the gap between their bodies.

Britt couldn't help but notice how Alex was the perfect height. She felt his hands slightly shake as he began to lean in. Her eyes closed when his nose brushed along hers. One of his hands left her hip and moved to lightly cup her cheek. She had to all but stop herself from just about melting into him.

Alex's lips just barely brushed along hers.

That was when her doorbell rang and the door quickly opened. Typical Toni entrance.

As quickly as it happened Alex pulled away. Britt couldn't help but still feel the electricity from that slight brush. He stepped away leaving her slightly flustered. She turned slightly red as he cleared his throat both of them trying to compose themselves before Toni entered the room.

"Where are you..." She stopped as she saw the sight in front of her. The two were still close but they were staring at her. Alex had his hands shoved in his pockets a slight red along his cheeks while Britt just looked flustered. She eyed the brunette for a moment and when she saw her friends disheveled look turn into a glare she knew exactly what had been happening. "What were you two up to?" The smirk on her face said she already knew but what Britt didn't expect was for Alex to be so ready for the question.

He grabbed his phone before tossing it towards Toni who easily caught it. She stopped for a moment reading the words on the screen before she screamed. Right as she did Jamie walked into the house and came running into to the room.

"They found a match!?" Toni said before both of them smashed into Alex after he nodded. Britt couldn't help the jealous twinge she felt in her stomach at the sight.

"That's bloody amazing!" Jamie said before the two pulled away. The brunette couldn't help but step back between them. As she leaned into Alex she noticed Toni smirking at her. "Are you going to meet them?"

"Depends on if they want to meet. I'll at the very least get a first name but the rest is up to them. Also depends on if they go through with it because some people are flaky." Britt looked up as him before she felt his hand run along her back lightly. "But typically if they send the email it means the persons committed so we shall see."

"We're celebrating tonight." Toni commented before Jamie agreed. Alex chuckled softly as he heard Britt groan.

"I still can't drink." He just about instantly replied causing the two of them to groan.

"Not even a little?" Jamie whined before he shook his head. "God you're no fun. I get it but ugh!" She commented earning the chuckle she got from him.

"I'm sorry I can't help the meds I'm on. But soon enough I'll drink your British ass under the table." She rolled her eyes at him.

"I'll drink both of your asses to the grave." Toni commented before he chuckled.

"Maybe the first night. But give me a month or so and your little ass won't stand a chance." He was shown her middle finger as he laughed.

"I'm staying out of this. Good luck dumbass." Britt commented. She could feel Alex's hand discreetly squeeze her side as he chuckled.

"Probably best that you do lightweight." She scoffed.

"I'm going to make you eat those words once you can drink." He laughed at her words before he felt her lean more into him.

"I'd love to see you try." Jamie and Toni's were watching the interaction between the two and couldn't help but smirk.

"I'd love to know what's going on between you both." The Aussie couldn't hold her words. They came out right as she thought them. What she didn't expect was for Alex to turn red. Though Britt was stoic, he was giving everything away.

"Nothings going on between us." The two women across from her laughed.

"You might wanna tell that to his face because he's telling us both a completely different story." Jamie commented before Britt looked up at Alex. She turned towards the two and glared at them.

"Would you leave him the fuck alone? While you're at it would you leave us alone as well?" He squeezed the brunettes hip stopping her rant. She wanted to lay into them but knew better. While her reaction told them even more they knew better than to push.

"Sorry." The two said in near unison. Britt's glare slowly softened and that's when they noticed Alex's hand gently moving along her arm. Her arms uncrossed as she relaxed back into him.

"So what are we doing tonight because we need to at least do something."
