Vanquish was about to twist the blade into Sol's chest.
"Shiyoko, wait!" They twitched. "Sentimentality remains your weakness, Gordel!"
"No, it's not!"
The Flames of Resolve wrapped around Sol, regenerating as they pulled the scythe out of their chest, allowing Solaurora to grab it, freeing some of the souls before Vanquish snatched it back, trying to quell the flames.
"Gordel, your plan has some merit, but a brainwashed army won't ever surpass sentient determination," shooting a crack in the ceiling and grabbing Solaurora, firing a Solar Buster to blast them back to the rest of ARMS and whisper to them a plan.
Yue spun around to create a flaming sword tornado, igniting the blazing trails, brightening up the room and lunging at him. Tide slid up the wall, wrapping their tentacles around Vanquish's limbs and cloak.
The werewolf-dragon humanoid rapidly hacked him apart but his body kept recovering, flying up to slam Tide into the ceiling while struggling to pull Yue back.
"Now!"
Crystal chucked the crash bombs out of Yami's mouth as she, Hyun and Shen hurled them at Vanquish, while Tide caught two, handing one to Yue. Once they exploded, everyone barring the fae fusions closed their eyes, hearing Gordel and Shiyoko's voices screeching from the pain.
The merging forms of mother and daughter charged up as much energy from every source of light around, nodding in sync.
"Double Solar Buster!"
The two fired dual rays that pierced through Vanquish, curving up and blasting wider holes through the ceiling. Yue and Tide tossed their respective thunder crash bombs into the ceiling, covering the room in more blinding flashes he tried to silence before getting pierced through the chest by the Animalia Crosser's dao.
Yue snatched his scythe before getting backhanded into the wall, throwing it down for Hanako's wolf shaped shield to crunch it, spitting it to Sol. The fused hero that started it all slammed the scythe down on the ground, releasing all the souls Vanquish borrowed from the graveyard.
He shrunk down, now just a half foot higher than Gordel's body, while Sol spread their wings. Solaurora jumped on, blitzing through the air to avoid Vanquish's much weaker ghastly wave of souls. Their vines absorbed the light emitting from the bomb's explosions.
Sol and Solaurora combined their arms to construct a hilt from their vines, creating a massive blade of golden energy as they flew towards the mastermind responsible for their demonic battles.
"Let's end this curse once and for all!"
Aurora smiled, relaying the perfect name for them. "Together!"
"Blossom Flower Solar Buster Slash!"
Sol and Solauora's blade of light illuminated the room, carving through a helpless Vanquish that howled as they split Gordel and General Shiyoko apart from one another.
Dolores rushed towards her uncle to catch him in the nick of time while Sol and Solaurora latched onto the demon and hurled him into the containment field, locking him in place. The four fused beings landed on the ground, relieved.
"We did it? We won?"
Dolores was taken aback. "How?"
Sol yawned, reverting to normal. "A scythe and size that big meant he was probably using souls to power himself up to make up for his age while keeping Shiyoko in check. Every demon you made us fight led up to this," grinning. "Did we put on a good show?"
