All of them turned to Aurora with shock.

We don't have a choice! Hanako can charge up solar energy just like the other fae, right?

The young demon relayed her sister's thoughts, morphing her arms into the shape of a wolf, channeling power from the hallway lights.

"I think so, but," closing her eyes, and shuddering. "I'm not good as mommy."

Van sucked his teeth. Shen decided to call Zira but the ringing got cut out.

Hanako channeled her senses. "I can't sense mommy, daddy, uncle, or auntie! Aurora, I'm scared."

Aurora's brain searched to construct a solution: there was only one power that could rival a Soul Crosser and a Possessed Synchronization.

Hyun, when you got turned into a golem, it felt like wearing a jacket, right?

"Yeah, but forced and heavy. Wish I could do it with a nicer demon."

"Hanako," powering through the screech of her voice. "Merge and wrap yourself around me, not my soul."

"Are you sure," Shen asked.

"She has my DNA," strengthening her voice. "If she can morph and shapeshift, we could channel her light powers better."

"And we'll get enough light from where?"

Aurora opened the door to her room flickering on every device and machine capable in the room, asking her sister to fully encapsulate the warm sun covering their body. Hanako jumped to her, teary eyed.

"But what about what all those scary demons did to you? I don't wanna hurt you, big sis."

"I know you won't," smiling. "Let's make them regret hurting me and your mom."

"Okay," matching her sister's thoughts. She formed a blue-green fur, pseudo armor around Aurora's limbs, covering her arms into a cannon shape with a wolf's mouth. Her back gained grassy dragon shaped wings, and Hanako's face appeared around her, but with more round buds for hair.

"We still need someone to distract Webwood," Crystal pointed out. "Should I?"

Shen was about to join her, but Hyun and Van stepped in front of them.

"It'd be pretty unmanly after I got possessed once. We got this, right Van?"

"But-"

"Crystal, normally I'd prefer dying with you watching over me to almost trick me into thinking life wasn't that bad. But I guess if there's a chance we can win, I can distract them," frightfully clenching his arms. "Aurora, get ready."

The two boys flew down each stairwell, prompting Webwood to retract his limbs in pursuit. The duo burst through the second floor, waiting for just the right time to slam the doors on his arms, holding them tight against the push back, yelling at Aurora to go now.

Crystal and Shen lifted Aurora up, moving as fast as they could to get her downstairs, now feet away. Webwood growled, attempting to require their limbs but Shen turned on the dorm's kitchen stove, lighting a knife on it and chucking it into the demon's mouth. They started coughing while trying to shake the boys' efforts off. Crystal jumped on one of his hands.

"Aurora, now!"

Aurora and Hanako's fingers shook, but her friend's efforts mattered more. The human felt Hanako's sorrow over seeing the darker side of the circumstances that led to her creation, but she embraced her sibling.

"You are my stolen power, but now, we're reunited," lining their fingers together for their wolf shaped cannon. "We'll do this together! Solaurora!"

The solar energy was released as a condensed knife piercing through Webwood's body. The grunts from his mouth as Aurora's drive motivated Hanako to strengthen it, twisting the blade through him even further.
