"Ok ok stop" I died of laughter as I sat on a barstool on the other side of the island countertop.

" what, I can,see" Miguel showed me the pan of scrambled eggs.

He then made both of us a plate of scrambled eggs and waffles.

"So what do you think" he sucked in his lips

"I think this is the best once frozen waffles I've ever tasted" I chuckled

"I told you but you like to make fun of me" he pouted

"Not just you, you can ask any of my closet's friends"

"Oh I believe you" Miguel continued to eat

my mouth dropped opened in a playful way of course "meany" I said

"Oh so now I'm the mean one" he sucked his teeth and shook his head, I laughed my head off and nodded.

A woman then walked down stairs.

"Miguel" she called out, Miguel immediately turned his head

"Good morning ma" he smiled, I just sat there in silence with a smile on my face

"Oh uh this is Y/n and that's my mom,Wendy.
Y/n lives right next door"

"Nice to meet you" I spoke

"Nice to meet you, you seem like a very sweet girl" Wendy said " nice to see you can make yourself breakfast, how was Isaac's you got home pretty late"

"Yea sorry, it was fun we got in the pool and stuff then we ate-

"Their parents cooked?" She turned around after opening the fridge

"No we tried to eat but then ended up throwing it up and eating snacks, but I saw the food you left in the microwave and ate that" Miguel looked at me and we smiled at each other.

"Mmh, so I'm assuming you were there too y/n" Wendy smirked

"Yes ma'am, I'm friends with Isaac's sister, Remy" I continued to eat

Time Skip

We sat on the couch watching a movie. I got a text from Mia, I rolled my eyes after reading the text.

"What's wrong" Miguel turned to me

"Oh uh Mia wants me to come to her yearly end of school party" I answered

"You don't want to go?"

"I don't want to go alone, plus I enjoy sitting here and watching breaking bad with you" I smiled

"What if I go with you"

"You don't have to go,"

"It seems cool plus I've never been to one before, when is it"

"Tonight at 7 or 8"

"Okay it's settled we're going" he said as he patted my knee, my head feel back as I looked at him, he noticed and gave me that stupid lovely smile of his.
