A New Beginning

They continued kissing as they moved towards the bed, only breaking the kiss long enough to remove their clothes. After making love Roman lay in Dean's arms, both finally feeling complete, now that they were together again.

"Ro, I know this isn't exactly the best time to do this, but I need you to know what happened!" Dean said, as he ran his fingers up and down Roman's arm.

"Okay."

"Everything was going like we planned, until we were in the car. Hunter got a call from Ford telling him about the set-up, when I heard that I thought I was going to be found out! I wasn't though, and Hunter had Kane send two guys as a decoy to the meeting, while Hunter, Steph, Orton, Barrett and I took off to Hawaii! I had no way of contacting you, they became so paranoid that somehow you'd find us! I was a freaking mess, I never stopped thinking of you, how you hated me and thought I had just used you! When we returned yesterday I knew I needed to show you I still loved you, so I texted you today!" Dean explained.

"Dean, when you disappeared my heart broke! At first I was so scared that they found you out, and either hurt or killed you! I was a mess, then Seth talked to me and made me doubt you! Even though I thought you had used me and didn't love me, I still loved you...I couldn't hate you! When you texted me today, part of me believed you were still trying to use me, but a bigger part of me; the part that still loves you trusted you! When everything you said was proven true, I knew that when you said you loved me you were telling me the truth, that's why I came here tonight!" Roman said tears in his eyes.

"Ro, I've done a lot of shit, bad shit in my life to a lot of people and I regret every damn thing; except one!" Dean said gently starring into Roman's eyes.

"What?"

"Falling in love with you!" Dean answered, tears in his eyes. "You've changed me Ro, you make me want to be a better person!"

"I love you Dean!"

"I love you more than you'll ever know baby boy!" Dean said, before he kissed Roman.

"Seth won't stop until you go down with the rest of your family." Roman said sadly.

"I know. I've been doing a lot of thinking Rome, maybe I should..."

"No!" Roman said cutting Dean off, as he sat up.

"Roman, maybe it's for the best if I give myself up or something?" Dean suggested sitting up too.

"No, Dean! I'm not going to lose you again!" Roman refused sadly.

"Ro, what kind of life can we have with me always hiding and on the run?" Dean asked, as he played with Roman's hair gently.

"It's better than a life without you!" Roman stated looking into Dean's eyes. "We'll figure something out together Dean, please?" Roman begged.

"Alright, we'll do it your way! Shit Ro, it's like I can't say no to you!" Dean said smiling.

"Hm...I'll have to remember that for later!" Roman said smiling, as they both laughed.

After spending a couple hours together Dean had to go back, he didn't want to, but knew he had no choice. Roman knew the time was coming where he'd have to let Dean go, but he didn't want to and was seriously thinking of running away with Dean! He knew Dean would never agree, so he kept quiet, Dean kissed his head before speaking.

"We gotta go."

"Do we have to? Can't we stay here forever?" Roman asked.

"Don't tempt me baby boy! We can't, they'd just come looking for us!" Dean answered.

"Okay." Roman said sadly, as they sat up.

"Ro, I need you to be strong for me okay?" Dean asked looking into Roman's eyes.

"It's going to be hard, but I'll try I promise!" Roman agreed.

"It won't be like this forever Rome, we just need to be patient!" Dean said holding Roman tightly. "I love you Roman."

"I love you too Dean."

"Come on, let's get dressed." Dean said kissing Roman.

A few minutes later they were dressed and ready to go, neither wanting to leave the other, their hearts breaking. After reminding Roman not to contact him, he'll contact Roman whenever he can, they kissed before holding each other tight. They went outside and after another kiss, Dean walked away without looking back. Roman waited until he couldn't see him anymore before he got into his car and drove back to the hotel.

When Roman arrived back at their room, he was surprised to find Seth sitting on the couch waiting for him. As Roman took his shoes off Seth watched him silently, finally Roman couldn't take the silence anymore.

"I thought you were sleeping?"

"I was, but I got up to use the bathroom and noticed you were gone! Where were you Ro, I was worried?" Seth asked.

"Couldn't sleep, so I went for a walk to clear my head." Roman lied.

"Since when do you take off in the middle of the night?" Seth questioned.

"I just needed some space to think! What is your problem Seth?"

"I don't like being lied to by people I trust!" Seth answered.

"I'm not lying Seth, why don't you believe me?" Roman demanded.

"Because you fell in love with a criminal Ro!"

"So what Seth? That doesn't change who I' am! I'm still the same guy I've always been! Have you forgotten that he disappeared Seth, and broke my heart, as you like to remind me every damn day!" Roman said angrily.

"Answer one question for me and I'll drop it!"

"What?" Roman asked.

"Do you know where Ambrose is?" Seth asked standing.

"No! I haven't seen or spoken to Dean since he told us about the deal!" Roman answered without hesitation starring into Seth's eyes.

"I believe you Ro. I'm sorry, I just didn't want to see you hurt." Seth said gently.

"I know Seth, I'm okay really. It hurts like hell, but I'll get over it with time. I'm going to go to bed though, we've got another long day tomorrow! Night Two-Tones, I love you." Roman said hugging Seth.

"Love you too Rome, night." Seth replied, as the hug ended and Roman left the room.

Once he was alone Seth sat on the couch and sighed as he rubbed his hands over his face...Roman was lying to him! When Roman had gotten back he seemed different, but Seth had just figured Roman had finally come to terms with tbe situation. When Roman hugged him though, he had smelt Ambrose's cheap cologne on him, but said nothing. He meant what he had told Roman about bringing The Authority; including Dean down! He just hoped he wouldn't have to take Roman down too!
