"So you had another nightmare?" Gabby asked, her voice flowing through the phone in a calming manner.
"Unfortunately. It was on what would have been out anniversary." Callie sighed out, trying to get the feelings away from her.
"Like clockwork."
"Exactly."
"Have you talked to anyone about it?"
"Well, i told Clay the other day about nothing in specific and I called Alex after the nightmare but didn't tell him what it was about."
"I feel like he should know, Callie."
"I do too, Im just waiting it out for now. Nobody stays around long enough, there's no point in sharing it if there's no need to."
"Well first of all, ouch, ive put up with your ass since we were 10 years old. It's literally been 10 years now you think i'd get some credit for sticking around. Second of all, he might be able to help you feel more comfortable with him if he knew, Callie."
"Im just not ready for that."
"And that's okay, but let him in, okay?"
"Yeah, yeah I know."
"So what are your plans for today?"
"Well, me and Lauren are taking my mom and her mom mom out to lunch for mother's day. it was yesterday but Lauren couldn't call off, so we made plans for today. They leave Wednesday so hopefully by then me and my mom arent fighting."
"We both know how that'll go."
"Of course we do." Callie said with a small smile.
"What if I flew out once they leave?" Gabby asked. Callie thought on it and smiled, loving the idea entirely.
