Chapter 15: MARRY ME

You turned around to look at Jungkook, silently asking him to explain whatever was going on with him and your father. Jungkook analysed your facial expressions before clearing his throat and walking towards you with a straight and serious posture.

"What did appa say? What did you say to him?" Noticing his silence, you impatiently asked, trying to ignore your raising heartbeats.

"Nothing much! He just said that I shouldn't take such a big decision like this, instead, I should deeply reconsider marrying you. He thinks I deserve someone better!" Jungkook couldn't help but see two question marks rising above your head as you blanked out in front of him.

"W-What?" You raised your brows dazedly as Jungkook sighed heavily and looked at you from top to bottom, with a very calculative and intense gaze, that actually made you feel conscious, "Infact, now that I think about these things… I also think that I deserve someone better!" Your mouth parted in a perfect 'O' as you stared at him dumbfoundedly, unable to understand whatever he was saying.

"You!" You chased after him as Jungkook walked out of his study, trying hard to hide the evident hint of smile from his lips. Just as you reached out to angrily grab the back of his collar, he turned around swiftly and instead grabbed your wrist in his hand, holding it tightly and pulling you in his embrace. Stunned, you blinked your eyes and tilted your head upwards to look at his face, only to find him already staring down at you with his infamous intense stare.

"Lee Y/n… I'll be waiting for you. Come back to me as soon as you can… hm?" Your wrist pressed against his chest could clearly feel the rhythm of his enraged heartbeats. His eyes not letting you have a chance to look away from them while your lips shuddered to speak out all your confusions but nothing came out from your mouth as all you could see was him and all you could hear was his crazy heartbeats rhythming along with yours.

His other free hand went behind your head as he gently rubbed your hair before pulling you closer and soon you felt a soft, feathery kiss planted on your little forehead. You closed your eyes, losing all your senses in the moment, in his embrace.

"These are prettier!" Your bridesmaids handed you a small bouquet of pink roses as you blushed again and again looking at yourself in the mirror.

From top to bottom, you couldn't help but chuckle as you checked out yourself and envisioned what would be Jungkook's reaction after seeing you dressed up as his bride. Yes, today was your wedding day. After a little leg-pulling, your father and Jungkook revealed that they were just teasing you that day.

Later when you reached your home with your father, he asked you very seriously whether you really loved Jungkook. You couldn't help but grin at your father shamelessly and he sighed, shaking his head at his daughter's antiques.

After spending two weeks with your father at your home, today was the day you and Jungkook had decided to get married. Nervously clutching the bouquet in your left hand, you reached out to hook your father's hand with your free one. Mr. Lee chuckled and kissed your forehead before walking down the aisle with you.

The whole wedding hall was filled with loud chants of your beauty as you blushed while walking towards your groom who stood at the center of the hall, accompanied by the priest.

You slowly lifted up your lashes to glance at him who was already looking in your direction, without any expression on his face.

Even from far, you could feel a sense of warmth in his eyes as he stared at you without blinking even for once. You too looked at him and your small smile gradually grew wider as you walked closer to him with each passing second. Finally stopping in front of him, your father kept your gloved hand in Jungkook's palm before siding away as the priest came forward to start the pre-wedding rituals.

Noticing that he was still not even blinking his eyes and the rims of his eyes were turning red, you gently pinched his palm and smiled at him awkwardly.

Jungkook finally seemed to come out of his stance as he blinked thrice before looking back at you. You playfully raised one of your brows and secretly winked at him as he shook his head lightly before tightening his hold around your small hand.

After exchanging the rings, the priest allowed Jungkook to kiss you and you couldn't help but grinned cheekily as your and Jungkook's friends, along with Somi, started hooting from the sitting area.

Shaking his head for the nth time, Jungkook closed his eyes and sighed heavily before pulling you in his embrace with a swift, making you startled. You blinked and tilted your head to look up in his eyes and he did the same, you couldn't help but smile again as he gently reached out to cup your cheek before tilting his head to block everyone's vision before he enclosed your lips with his.

You smiled in between the kiss and blushingly hid your and his face with the bouquet in your hands as you could hear loud sounds of laughing and whispering.

"I love you…"
