The heavy rain didn't stop Harry from running towards the courtyard to see Violet standing there all wet from the rain. Now her teary eyes were still visible, but with the rest of herself wet it wasn't that easy to catch she had been cry earlier.

Harry nevertheless thought she was still pretty even in the rain and red eyes. He looked at his flower bouquet that was so neatly done and no longer cared if he presented them to her all perfect or wet, he had to ask.

"Violet.." he said, walking out to the courtyard, trying not to spook her.

However, she did jump in surprise and turned to see Harry. "Oh, Harry.." she whispered, taking off her glasses and casting a quick "impervius!" on her glasses before fixing her eyes towards Harry. "Did Cho not accept?"

Harry shook his head, "No, uh I was never going to ask her."
However, Violet just looked confused. "Then..why did Ron say..?"

"You know how he is in those situations...but uh, that's not why I came here.." Harry said, keeping his footing with noticeable distance from him and the girl. "Wait, uh.." Harry grabbed his wand and did the same to his glasses like Violet had done earlier.

"First, are you okay?" he asked, he wasn't going to ask her anything until Harry knows she's okay.

"Yeah, I'm uh fine...my great grandmother...she died earlier this week, Raven just didn't have to heart to tell me until yesterday.." Violet muttered, wiping her eyes for what seemed like the millionth time. "But, I'm okay...I mean, we all knew it was happening anyways, so it's not like I'm surprised.."

Harry frowned, "I'm sorry, I can't imagine anything like going through that.."
"Like I said, it's fine, she's been sick for awhile...and besides she wouldn't want me to be so upset.."

Harry threaded carefully with his next words, whatever he said could determine what he would do after. So he grabbed her hand and prepared to say his next sentence.
