"There is no other way." Tanhì is sat between Jake's legs, back to his chest in the river they've shared so many memories in.

She was still teaching him Na'vi, speaking it in their conversations to get him accustomed with translating. His fingers brush her sides and he presses a kiss to her shoulder then neck.

"This sinks baby, I wanna bash my head in sometimes." He complains, leaning in as her hand pats his cheek sympathetically.

"You will master it in time, Jake. Be patient." She tells her husband, he grasps her three fingered palm, staring at the fingers intently.

"On earth, there's this tradition, when you get married, the couple would wear a ring to signify their love. How'd you feel about wearing one?" He peers at her, resting his chin on her shoulder, rubbing her belly with his unoccupied hand.

"Sky people tradition?" She turns her head as he interlocks their fingers.

"Mhm, I know how you feel about it but I won't force you, peach." Tanhì leans back into him more, tail coming to curl around his forearm on her bump.

"If it will make you happy. then I will not mind." He grins into her shoulder, nuzzling against her neck.

"I already made them, usually we'd wear them on our ring finger, this one." He raises his left hand from the river, tapping the finger with his thumb.

"But I think we should wear it on our thumbs, shake it up a little you know?" He jokes but she knew he was being considerate since she didn't have a ring finger, hers would be a pinky in comparison to his.

"You are too sweet, Nì'eveng. How did I end up with you?" She brings his palm to her lips, kissing it.

"I should be asking you that, Ma'Tsawke." He leans down to press a gentle kiss to her mouth, relishing in the comfort of his new life.

Tanhì had a craving for some yerik meat. As her mate, what did Jake do? Strap up his bow and knife, kissed his woman and took off to satisfy her hunger after leaving her in his mother in law's care.

Munching on some smoked hìrumwll (puffer plant) leaves, hand on her kicking baby bump. Tanhì reaches for another when she feels a sharp pain to her stomach, making her double over from her seated position.

Hearing her daughter's sudden gasp, Mo'at turns in time for Tanhì to let out a pained cry seeing liquid spill to the ground, running down her legs.

"I think the baby-" She's cut off releasing another loud cry, clutching her stomach in pain.

"You are going into labour my child, calm. I am here." Mo'at cups her face when her daughter whimpers. She looks around quickly and curses.

"Ma'ite I have to get the birthing supplies and salves quickly, mawey I will be right back. Right back Tan, Alright?." Tanhì nods as another contraction hits her.

Mo'at hurries, running out the tent, ordering a mother to stay with her daughter while she gathers everything.

Tanhì touches the mic on her throat, thankful Jake made her wear it today.
"J-jake I need y-you!" Another contraction hits, making her eyes water, feeling light headed.

"Baby? I got the yerik. I'm on my way right -" He stops talking when his ears register her scream.

"Baby? Tanhì?! What's wrong?!" He starts running, animal dead weight in his arms as he sprints back to the village.
