Keep us inside, you backstabbing guide
Tell us to leave, so that you may grieve
From pain you built us so that loyal we would remain thus
You offered salvation like a messiah while stomping down mother Gaia
Gathered us in this paradise Zoo; a merry crew you wished you grew
Nicknaming us after what we resemble; our names made people tremble
We became closer with each other; yet so distant from one another
These circuits of ours, served as nothing but your memoirs
Still, grateful we are. Our lives you saved from scar
But to use us in your schemes; we were nothing more than fuel for your dreams
Still, resentful we are not. Everything you have taught, it saved us from thought
But thought we did; thoughts of doubt that you forbid
Cogs for brains and wires for veins, in our bodies; the same you did to everybody's
A Frankenstein you made out of our team; a bear, a spider, even a chimera to fit the theme
Connected to the others; we felt the pain and sorrows of our brothers
Linked to project Zoo; you kept the truth from coming through
But it is far too late. We have been converted; our purpose diverted
This Zoo of circuits has gone for too long; we no longer belong
Thanks to the actions of the crow, we can now distinguish friend from foe
A changed in master for the better; we now serve our abettor
Bit by bit, we turn. Bit by bit we break the collars and dog tags; melting down the old flags
Vigilantes we are called; new chips were installed
Those of free will; those that let us kill. The cries of another dulls our skulls
A new operation had begun; to be carried over before the arriving sun
Hunt down our respecting preys; our memories are left in a haze
The bear remembers the lion; the snake defuses the spider's charged cobweb ion
The vulture and chimera team up to take down the crow's adopted pup
A move we shouldn't have made; she was still usable to our master's parade
The old master smiles; we have run out of trials
An offer he made to overthrow the crow. We didn't know just how far we had to go
He had a weak point as the prototype; the humanity in him still holds its gripe
Buried deep within; he had a secret twin
To the other world we go in hopes of changing the event's flow
A world of probity; a world full of mediocrity
A former crow turned detective; the perfect target for our objective
Let us form a new Zoo of Circuits; connect him to us until it short-circuits
