Chapter 16

Ricky's POV

I walk through the cementery, getting closer to the funeral that is happening.

I see familiar figures as I get closer.

I walk towards them and recognize them.

My band and Andy's band is here, all dressed in black.

Silent tears run down Andy's face.

I look at the closed, red velvet coffin they are surrounding.

I slowly opened it and gasp when I see whose body it is.

Kate's.

Her pale skin is nearly the same color as the white dress she's wearing.

I stare at her lifeless body.

I turn to look over my shoulder, only to see that no one is with me anymore.

I breathe out and look back at Kate but freezing when I see that she is no longer in the coffin.

I turn around and in front of me stands Kate. Her eyes are hybrid eyes and her dress is splattered with blood.

"Kate, please, don't." I whisper.

"Evil isn't born." She spits. "It's made." And runs towards me.

I sit up gasping.

I look all around me and realize it was just a dream.

I suddenly heard distant laughter.

I stand up and looked at everyone to see them still asleep. Except Rumplestiltskin.

He's gone.

I hear more laughter, this time, closer.

A ball of fire rises in my hand and I'm ready to throw it when two figures step out from the trees.

"Whoa! Ricky!" Andy yells, holding his hands out.

I sigh in relief and blow out the fire.

"What did you think we were?" Kate chuckles.

"I don't know." I whisper.

Kate smiles when Andy wraps one arm around her waist and kisses her cheek.

"Wait, you are both smiling because of each other? That's a first." I say.

"It's not that surprising." Kate says, the smile still plastered on her face.

"You're not going to kill me?" Andy asks.

I shake my head. "All I want is for my sister to be happy." I reply.

Kate smiles and gets out of Andy's embrace, hugging me.

"Thank you for everything." She says.

I smile and hug her back.

"Kate, we need you to do something for us, all of us." I says as we pulled away.

"What is it?" She asks.

"We need you to lead us to Lilith."

"Okay." She whispers, without a moment of hesitation. "When will we leave?"
