'No One's Pov'
Y/n stared out into the sea, the moonlight making the water shine. She couldn't bare to look at Neteyam. She took a deep breath before she turned around and walked over to Neteyam's body. She sat down next to him and grabbed onto his hand.
"Neteyam...I know you probably can't hear me, but I'm sorry" Y/n said, tears starting to once again form in her puffy eyes. "I'm sorry that I didn't have your back" Y/n said with a small smile. "It seems like just yesterday we were in the forest, enjoying the care-free life of being a kid." Y/n spoke softly as she placed her hand on the side of Neteyam's face. "I don't know what I'm going to do without you." Y/n said as she broke down and cried on Neteyam's chest. She sat there crying till she slowly drifted off into a stressful sleep.
~Flash Back/ Dream~
"SPIDER" Kiri yelled as Spider chased her around trying to tag her.
"I'm gonna get you Kiri" Spider called out
It was boys versus girls tag, this was one of their favorite games to play. Y/n ran through the tall plants that surrounded her, laughing as she did. She could hear Lo'ak and Neteyam behind her.
"I see her!" Lo'ak cried out. Y/n had an idea, she laid down on the ground inside of the plants. She watched as Lo'ak and Neteyam stopped right in front of her.
"Where did she go" Neteyam asked. "This way" Lo'ak said and the two brothers ran off. Y/n laughed to herself and made her way back to their tree. Kiri and Spider were gone, no one was there. Y/n looked around worried.
"Mom.."
"Dad.."
She paused for a second.
"Kiri.."
"Spider.."
There was a noise coming from the leaves. Y/n turned towards them and slowly backed away. Jake jumped out of the leaves, it caused Y/n to scream. She saw Lo'ak and Neteyam with him. Jake walked over to Y/n and picked her up, laughing. Lo'ak and Neteyam ran over to Jake and tackled his legs, causing him to fall over. Then Neytiri ran out of the bushes with Kiri and Spider chasing her. Y/n laughed as Neytiri fell on Jake. Spider and Kiri jumped into the pile.
"We win" Jake said laughing
"No you don't we got you" Lo'ak said while laughing
"Yeah, you guys don't win" Y/n said with a smile
"Oh okay fine" Neytiri said with a smile
Jake sat up and Y/n stood in front of him. She had a bright smile on her face, causing Jake to smile as well. "I saw you fake out Lo'ak and Neteyam, atta girl". Y/n smiled and laughed.
