6. "Back off fish lips"

'Y/n's Pov'

Neteyam grabbed my hand pulling me into the pod faster.  I stumbled but he held me up. "Family meeting" Neteyam said. I sat in between Lo'ak and Tuk. 

"Learn fast, pull your weight, okay. Don't cause trouble, got it" Jake looked at Lo'ak

Lo'ak nodded his head. "Yes sir". Neteyam smirked and reached out to rub his brothers shoulder. Lo'ak turned and hissed at Neteyam. I heard Tuk sniffle. "I want to go home" Tuk sobbed. My ears flattened as my expression softened.  I moved a strand of Tuk's hair out of her face. "Oh Tuk" I said softly, hurt to see her upset. Jake grabbed Tuk's hand. "Listen, okay this is our home now".

Neytiri sighed. "What is your father always saying". "Sullys stick together". Jake turned back. "Right, Sully stick together, and this time with a little more enthusiasm". "Sully stick together". Jake dismissed us, we all left the pod. Tuk held my hand. I noticed Tsireya with Ao'nung and Rotxo sitting on the docks near our pod. Tsireya turned to us and brought Ao'nung and Rotxo with her. 

"Hey you guys ready" Tsireya smiled at all of us. "Yeah, lets do it" Tsireya nodded and turned to the water. Her and Rotxo jumped into the water, so gracefully. Ao'nung smiled and winked at me before turning and diving into the water. Lo'ak and Neteyam both looked at me. I looked at them. "What" I chuckled. Lo'ak was gonna say something but Neteyam stopped him. They both smiled before crying out as they jumped into the water.

Kiri and I looked at each other. Tuk laughed and jumped in after her brothers. Kiri stood next to me and spoke softly. "I think they are, very unhappy with Ao'nung". I rolled my eyes and looked at her. "Let's just enjoy this, okay" Kiri nodded and held my hand. We jumped in the water together. Swimming back to the surface. Kiri and I just laughed at each other. I felt a tug on my leg and looked under the water to see Tuk. Kiri, Tuk, and I caught up with Lo'ak and Neteyam. Looking under the water I saw Tsireya doing something with her hands. Lo'ak looked at me and then to Neteyam. Neteyam shrugged his shoulder towards Tsireya. She smiled and gestured her hand for us to come down there with her. We all took deep breaths of air before swimming farther down.

I followed Tsireya, when Kiri grabbed my hand. She motioned for me to follow her. I swam off with her, admiring all the sea creatures and plants around us. Kiri smiled at me as she swam ahead. I came across a creature. It chirped and squeaked as it swam circles around me. It made me smile. The creature seemed to stop next to me. I made the bond with the creature and grabbed ahold of it gently as it took off. I looked to my right and saw Kiri. She smiled at me before speeding off in front of me. I followed her, going in between the coral pieces. We breached the surface as we slowed down. I laughed as I took a large breath of air.

'No one's Pov'

Tuk, Lo'ak and Neteyam swam to the surface. As the three reef children signed to each other. Tsireya gave them an annoyed look before she swam to the surface, Rotxo following. "Are you alright" Tsireya asked the forest children. "You're too fast wait for us" Tuk rubbed her little eye. Ao'nung breached the surface with a cocky smile. "Just breath" Tsireya said. "You are not good divers, maybe good at swinging through trees but-" Tsireya hit Ao'nung on the side of the head. "Stop" Tsireya said sternly. 

"Come on bro" Lo'ak said annoyed. "And we don't speak this finger language, we don't know what you are saying" Neteyam added. "We will teach you" Tsireya said. Rotxo looked around noticing that they were missing two people.

"Where's Y/n and Kiri" Rotxo looked around. Tsireya and Ao'nung also looked around. Lo'ak and Neteyam quickly darted their eyes everywhere possible. "I will go search for her" Ao'nung spoke. "You mean them" Lo'ak asked. Ao'nung turned to the two brothers. "What". "You said you were gonna go look for her, but it's Y/n AND Kiri" Neteyam said glaring at Ao'nung. "Right, I'll go find them" Ao'nung dived in the water swimming off.
