8. "Of Course She's Gonna Be Okay.."

'No One's Pov'

Y/n and Neteyam had parted ways. Y/n was still nervous to be around Neteyam without getting flustered. Y/n was with Tsireya and Tuk, playing around in the water and Neteyam was with Rotxo. Tuk was playing with one of the baby Ilu, while Tsireya and Y/n sat on the sand talking. 

"You seem distracted, is everything okay" Tsireya placed her hand on Y/n's shoulder. Y/n looked at Tsireya and smiled. "Of course, just thinking about stuff". Tsireya smirked and Y/n noticed and slowly became worried that she knew what happened between her and Neteyam. 

"Why are you smiling like that Reya". Tsireya placed her hand over her mouth and laughed into it. "You and Neteyam in the medical pod earlier, I walked by and heard a few things, what's going on" Y/n immediately looked down at the sand, heat rising in her face. Tsireya laughed.

"I think your reaction tells me everything". Y/n cleared her throat before looking at Tsireya. "You have to promise you won't say anything, I'm still trying to figure out my feelings and I haven't spoken to Neteyam since. So just please keep it a secret". Tsireya nodded, as Kiri walked over to Y/n and Tsireya. Tsireya looked behind her and saw Kiri and she quickly turned back around facing Y/n. She looked flustered. Y/n leaned in closer to Tsireya's ear. "Soo, you and Kiri". Tsireya pushed Y/n back lightly, causing Y/n to laugh.

Kiri sat down next to Tsireya and smiled at the two. "What's up". Y/n glanced at Tsireya, who was silent. "Nothing really just talking about going out to The Cove of Ancestors" Tsireya's head picked up and she had a bright smile on her face. "I forgot, yes we must go". Tsireya stood up. She was focused on Rotxo and Neteyam coming their way. She got a devious idea. Tsireya pulled Y/n up.

"Whoa, Reya, relax we're coming". As Neteyam and Rotxo got closer only Rotxo came into Y/n's view. "Hey guys" Rotxo spoke with a smile. Y/n was about to speak before Tsireya gave her a light shove. Y/n stumbled back as she braced herself for impact with the sand, but it never came. Y/n opened her eyes and saw an upside down Neteyam. 

"Are you okay" Neteyam spoke, his tone raspy. Y/n felt the heat rising in her face once again and quickly left Neteyam's warm embrace. She cleared her throat again before she spoke. "Y-Yeah I'm fine, thanks" Y/n turned and glared at Tsireya. "What we're you guys doing" Neteyam spoke as he put his arm around Y/n's waist, now standing next to her. 

"We were just talking about going to The Cove of Ancestors" Tsireya smiled. Rotxo also smiled. "What is The Cove of Ancestors" Tuk asked. "Well it's like our Spirit Tree, where we can connect with Eywa" Rotxo spoke happily. Y/n smiled. "I'd love to see it". "Then let's go" Tsireya and Rotxo led the way to the Ilus. Tuk held Y/n's hand as they followed. Neteyam got onto an Ilu, along with Kiri, Tsireya, and Rotxo. Y/n steadied her Ilu gently petting the creatures head. She made the bond and got on. Tuk quickly, but carefully got on behind her.
