"Wait wait wait- What about the flight?"

"Calm down baby, the flight is exactly 10:30 PM. We'll have more than enough time to perform and leave- if you are going to come with me, of course."

"Yoohyeon, this is the only flight available and if you miss it I swear to god.."

"I'm not going to, don't worry. So instead of arguing about this, how about we go back and practice a song, what do you say?"

"I need to stop letting you order me around like that."

"There's nothing wrong with listening to your girlfriend, baby. Especially when I'm 'older' than you."

"Older..?"

"By 4 months since I'm born in January- on the 7th, to be precise."

She winked at me and I rolled my eyes, following her lead as if I was her little pet. A lot of our friends have been wondering who was the older one in the relationship and it was more than surprising that it was actually Yoohyeon, since she was much more immature than me... sometimes.

She wasn't wrong about the practicing part though, I really needed to practice my singing for this so I wouldn't disappoint her nor myself. I was worried, but excited for my first ever performance. As long as I'm with doing it with her, I'm sure everything will be fine. Even if I made an accidental mistake, Yoohyeon's presence would make me forget about it. She's just that special to me.

"No Minji, it's an octave lower. Try it with your head voice."

The moment we got back home, we started practicing a song Yoohyeon has been working on for some time now. It was the perfect song that I thought was just right for us. I thought it wouldn't be that hard to sing since I was a bit more experienced in that than guitar, but I was so wrong.

"My voice just can't go any lower, I can't do it."

"Yes you can- Listen! You did it just now."

"No, I- Oh, I did it actually."

"Believe in yourself a bit more baby, you can do it."

I smiled at her way of motivating me and thanks to her, I managed to sing the verses with little to no mistakes this time. She clapped her hands and gave me a peck as a way to congratulate me. I pouted, asking for a longer kiss, but she said she'll give me a big smooch when we're done. Such a meanie..

She sat on her desk and started distributing the lines for the song. I asked for less lines than her, but she pretended to not hear me and we both got the same amount of lines. I couldn't even be mad because she was determined that I'd do amazing. If she believed in me, so should I.

She leaned back on her chair and sighed in relief after completing the distribution. While I was practicing my singing, she was practicing the tabs of the song and tried to memorize them. She played the guitar the whole time, so I didn't doubt that she was probably very exhausted after such tiring day. She slowly turned around to face me and raised her hands up in the air and cheered in happiness.

"I'm finally done!"

I laughed at her silliness and focused back on memorizing the lyrics, making her pout and motion with her hands for me to come to her.

"Aren't you going to give me a kiss?"

"Didn't you want me to learn this before we do our lovey dovey stuff?"
