Chapter 29: Out And About (pt. 1)

(A/n: Chapter 29, back to Solar and Lunar brotherly bonding because yes. Also I know what I said last chapter but since this chapter went longer than expected you'll meet the "new character" not next chapter but the chapter offer next instead. I'm sorry guys but I hope you still enjoy this one ;3)

~ Solar Eclipse's POV ~

Lunar and I just got out of the Pizzaplex and went to the store where we bought more than just what we intended to. We both got hoodies because the air was kinda cold and put them on after we bought them. I also got Lunar some sour skittles as well as few other candies he liked. In fact I may have even bought myself a coffee to boost my energy since I was getting a bit tired.

I mean I was still in the 60s of battery life but usually when I drop to 50s it starts making me tired even though I know I can run on it. Either way instead of going straight to get ice cream we stopped by a park and hung out there for a bit walking through it and chatting while I held his hand like he was my kid.

Lunar: "I've been meaning to point out something since you bought it"

Solar(Eclipse): *while sipping his coffee* "Hm?"

Lunar: "You finally tried it..."

Solar(Eclipse): *stops sipping it* "What?"

Lunar: "Coffee. You finally tried it"

Solar(Eclipse): "So what? I never said I wouldn't drink coffee if I could"

Lunar: "Just admit it you wanted to try it after Luna turned you biomachanical didn't you"

Solar(Eclipse): *sighs* "Maybe..." *takes another sip*

Lunar: "Haha!"

Solar(Eclipse): "What?"

Lunar: "Nothing, it's just about time you did."

Solar(Eclipse): "What do you mean by that?"

Lunar: "Brother... You always sound exhausted."

Solar(Eclipse): "Its because I always am, even at full battery"

Lunar: "I guess that's another thing that never changed about you."

Solar(Eclipse): "I mean, even as nice me it's just the way I am."

Lunar: "True"

Solar(Eclipse): "Why so interested?"

Lunar: "No reason exactly, just that I realized Sun drinks coffee too and he's not even biomachanical. He's honestly kinda addicted to it"

Solar(Eclipse): "Wait... how?"

Lunar: "I don't question it. I mean I heard Moon gave him a nano-machine stomach so..."

Solar(Eclipse): "Even with a nano-machine stomach it's still not meant for actual food. It just can't digest it. It's only used for eating things like oil and bolts when not biomachanical. Unless it's also like you and Bloodmoon wheres to you're programmed to be able to digest actual food. I know because Luna installed a nano-machine stomach into me when she rebuilt me"

Lunar: *shrugs shoulders* "Like I said... I don't question it"

Solar(Eclipse): "Then neither shall I even though I don't think science works that way."

Lunar: "Eh... who knows"

Solar(Eclipse): "However I will say... I don't blame Sun for drinking coffee, it is pretty good and a real good pick-me-up when tired. Wanna try it?"

Lunar: "Ick! No it's bitter! I've tried it before and you're drinking it straight black so it's even more bitter!"

Solar(Eclipse): *chuckles* "You really are just like a kid to certain extents still"
