"Can't you bring Cherry to my house? We'll buy her a bed and everything!"

"I'd love to, but I really can't- and you need some time alone too. I noticed how distressed you looked today so a little peace of mind won't be bad. I'll call you tonight before I fall asleep, okay?"

"I really don't know what I'd do without you."

"I don't know either. I'll miss you."

"Me too, I love you."

"Love you too baby."

Minji pulled me in a long kiss before walking her way to her house. I didn't want to leave her, but this was somewhat of an opportunity to get more information about what I needed to focus on for the college.

I also had to think of a way to tell Minji the truth. The sooner she knows, the better.. But it's so hard. I had to choose between a future that would give me financial success or a future with the only person that brought me joy and comfort.

All of these thoughts made me have a mental breakdown the second I got home and entered my room and locked myself in, not wanting to talk or see anyone at that moment.

I did nothing but fill my mind with studies and information as long as I wouldn't think about something else. I studied for hours and hours straight, not checking any messages, because they'd definitely distract me.

It was already dinner time and Yoojung came up to my room and knocked in his own funny way that I always giggled at.

"Yoohyeon~, dinner's ready. I made pork cutlets with your favorite sauce."

"Sorry Yoojung, but I need to study. I'll eat later."

I won't.. I knew that if I stopped studying even for a slight second, I'd binge eat everything I saw as a way to calm myself down and then regret it.

"Are you sure? It's really good!"

"Yes, I'm sure. Now please will you let me study in peace?"

I heard him sigh a silent "Sure" and he left me alone. I felt bad for being so harsh on him, but I really needed this time to think everything through. This whole future thing has been messing me up the whole day and I hated it. So much.

It was almost 10 PM when I heard Yoojung coming up the stairs, hesitantly knocking on my door.

"Yoohyeon, are you awake?"

"Yes, what's up?"

"Uh.. you have a guest."

"A guest? Wh-"

"Unlock the door bitch, it's queen Bora!"

I heard Bora's loud voice and lightly laughed before opening the door. She entered my room with a bag of my favorite brand of chocolate and ice cream. She closed the door behind after waving to Yoojung and immediately got serious.

"We need to talk about you, Yoohyeon. And there better be no 'I'm fine', 'What's there to talk about' or 'I have to study' because we both know you're going through stuff."
