"Yoohyeon, can I ask you something?"
'Of course, what is it?"
"Now that the finals are next month, are you planning to continue studying after highschool?"
I widened my eyes and remembered that it was already almost the end of the school year. I've been in the hospital for almost 3 months and I didn't keep track of time at all. I probably missed a lot of stuff, most importantly - I completely forgot to study.
I had a lot of plans for the future and colleges that I wanted to attend, but now it might be harder for me. I had many close friends now and most importantly - a person I loved.
"I-I don't know- maybe not."
That was a lie. I really wanted to study in a college for linguistics, but the reason I didn't tell her that was because that school was in Norway. There was no way I could tell her that. It's not because I didn't trust her, I was just too big of a coward to tell her. I scratched my neck and tried to switch the topic.
"Well- what about you? Are you planning to study more?"
"I'd like to, but with my grades... I wouldn't be accepted anywhere. It's fine though, at least we both will spend more time together."
"Yeah.. together."
I let out a silent sigh and went back to my seat to take my books for the next lesson.
I wasn't focused at all, I was only thinking of what would happen if Minji was to know the truth. Would she be sad, mad, disappointed.. Would she be upset at me for lying? I heavily shook my head and listened in class because I'd need that for my finals.

12:02 PM / KMJ
It was finally lunch break and I went over to Yoohyeon but for some reason she kept her distance. What is it with her? We got the whole group and everyone was doing their thing but Yoohyeon's aura could be felt from a mile away. It was like she wanted to run away, but I had no idea why. She suddenly stopped and awkwardly scratched her arm.
"Uh guys, I'll take a fast detour to the library real quick."
"Want me to come with you?"
"It's fine baby, I'll be back in a bit!"
She walked off and everyone else looked at me with a serious expression and pulled me towards an empty table in the cafeteria. Bora sat me down and asked for an explanation.
"What did you do?"
"I didn't do anything! I don't know what's up with her, she was fine all morning but when I mentioned-"
"Mentioned what?"
"If she'd study after school.. but she said she won't, so I don't see what's so bad about that."
Bora then face-palmed herself, followed by the others. She sighed and tapped her fingers on the table like an annoyed aunt while I looked like a child getting scolded for stealing something.
"Kim Minji, you know that Yoohyeon is an actual nerd when it comes to studying, right?"
"Yeah but-"
