"She has a girlfriend."
I looked behind me and saw Minji, staring right through that guy's soul with a threatening expression. The guy gulped and bowed down a few times before excusing himself and getting away from us.
I turned to look at Minji's eyes and she was still eyeing the guy with her killer glare. I called her name and she switched her gaze towards me and was clearly annoyed but worried about me as well.
"That guy was so obnoxious I couldn't stand him at all."
"Jiu..."
"You literally have no idea, I hate that guy so much and I don't even know him."
"Wait Jiu-"
"What even was his problem? You said no and clearly didn't want to talk to him at all so I don't see why he-"
"Kim Minji."
"Hm?"
"You look so hot when you're mad."
"H-Huh?"
I saw her cheeks reddening up because of my sudden confession and she pursed her lips in attempt to hide her smile.
"S-Sorry, I got carried away. Are you okay?"
"I never thought I'd find it so attractive to see you mad."
"Of course I would be mad, he was trying to hit on you LITERALLY infront of me. Who does he think he is to talk to my Yootoni like that."
"*murmur* Cute."
"Did you say something?"
"Nope! Let's go buy these and get something to eat."
"Alright-"
I pulled her by her wrist and interwined our arms together. I was feeling so proud that I wanted everyone to see who she belonged to. I quickly paid for our stuff and dragged her to a bakery for something to drink and eat.
We sat on a table and ordered iced americano with croissants and sandwiches and talked for a while. I kept on glancing on everyone around and noticed a particular couple sitting on a table far right from us.
They were just like me and Minji, but one thing that caught my attention the most was they didn't seem very close, but at the same time they looked like a married couple with three kids and a villa in Europe. One was playing a game on their phone and drinking the coffee the other one was holding for them, but that same other one was trying to show the unbothered girl a picture of a baby dolphin for at least 5 minutes now.
"Hyeonie? Did you see someone you know?"
"Oh, sorry, I got distracted by those girls over there."
"Ah.. Wait, they look really familiar now that you pointed them out. Aren't they.."
"Chae and Sakura!?"
