I saw her disappear to particles and a door opening right where her body was. I cautiously opened it and saw Minji's imaginary figure yet again. It was the one from that night she got beaten up by her father. She was smiling at me and calling me.. And suddenly, she was Minji from earlier, crying. She was covered in my blood with her tears falling down and I wanted to stop her crying. I hated it when she was sad. I ran to hug her and she hugged me back, cupping my cheeks.

"Please come back Yoohyeon.. I can't live without you.."

"I'm here Minji, I'm here. I'm not going anywhere."

"Don't leave me... I need you with me. Wake up, please."

I felt her body fade away once again and butterflies flying around to create a small bit of light. I glanced through the slight opening they created and saw an operation room. I heard muffled voices of doctors saying that someone can't be saved to Minji.

Wait.. I can't be saved..?

I somehow could look around the room and noticed my laying body and my pulse on a monitor..

It was gone!? How could it be gone when I was right here? I was alive?

I stared at my lifeless body just sleep helplessly on the surgery room's bed. Everyone there was sighing and praying for a miracle. I walked to my own body and tried to hold it but my hand just went through it. I couldn't believe what was happening right now.

I was trying to wake up my own dead body...

I wanted to find a way to wake myself up, but didn't know what to do. I waved my hand infront of doctors, tried to move surgical items but nothing worked. I was now sitting in the corner of the room, watching everything slowly fade away as my mind was losing it's life and dying.

I was sobbing in defeat..

But I noticed a window with a big crowd outside. I got up and walked towards it, seeing my friends and brother. All of them were crying, especially Yoojung. My poor brother... I couldn't say a proper goodbye to him. I looked through the faces of everyone and weakly smiled while looking at them - Bora, Siyeon, Handong, Dami, Gahyeon, Sakura, Chaewon...

But Minji was missing?

I walked right through the wall and took a closer peak at everyone. I noticed in the corner of my eye a single lone girl, isolated away from everyone. I walked up to her and saw her face.. my Minji. She was uncontrollably crying all alone.

"My love... Don't cry please, I hate to see you like that."

She tilted her head up and looked into my eyes. I knew she couldn't see me but I felt like she knew I was next to her. I wanted to hold her in my arms and tell her that I was sorry for leaving her. That I was sorry for not managing to stay strong and be with her. I crouched to the ground and tried to place my hand on her cheek and...

I did.

I slightly widened my eyes and placed my other hand on her other cheek. She placed her hands on her cheeks and her eyes sparkled with hope.

"Y-Yoohyeon?"

She called me. I saw her slightly look down and close her eyes. She knew I was next to her..

"Baby, if you're here.. please come back to us.. to me.. I miss you.."

I stood up, looking at Minji curling up in her own world and crying again. I knew what I had to do. I had to wake up right now. I had to go back and be with Minji. She missed me. She wanted me. She needed me.

And I needed her more..

I ran to my body and looked at myself, shouting at the top of my lungs to wake up.. Just please.. Please wake up.

Wake up.

"We have a pulse! She's back to life!"

I opened my eyes and saw a numerous amount of doctors around me. All of them were smiling and crying out of happiness. I looked around and I noticed I was in the same room from my mind. I was still in pain and everything was so blurry. I couldn't see nor hear well.

I examined the area and saw the same window as before. I saw the blurred faces of my friends and family. Everyone looked different than before. They were crying but this time, I saw tears of happiness.

I couldn't see well but I knew I recognized the pair of eyes that shined the most in the whole world. The smile of the most incredible girl I've ever met and the tears of the person I wished to always protect with my life.

The existence of the most important human and the slight wave with her hand that she gave me when we made eye contact.

I felt pain everywhere... but that pain just disappeared when I smiled back at her.
