She put her shoes on and ran off to somewhere while hopping and waving with a frown that switched to a smile. I watched her silhouette disappear because today was slightly foggy and it made me feel moody for some reason. The weather was slightly chilly as well, so I grabbed a thin jacket from the clothes hanger and took a short walk around.
I visited souvenir stores, big parks, malls, and then stopped infront of a house.. Minji's house. I didn't feel like staying here for long because if she saw me, she might get upset. I took a last glance before leaving and noticed a person staring at me from the rooftop of her apartment complex. I squinted my eyes and I saw a man dressed in black clothes looking at me, but hiding the moment I turned to look at him. I gulped and walked away quickly, pretending like I didn't see anything. I hoped it wasn't her brother or father.. Why would they even be up there in the first place? I hope Minji is safe..
I walked randomly and reached the front of a pretty flower shop. I noticed a certain blonde girl inside there. She turned around and grinned the moment she saw me and motioned me to get inside. I did so and immediately got sweetly hugged by her.
"Hey Yooh! Why are you walking around alone?"
"Hey Dongie. I just wanted to take a short walk to cool off. Are you working here?"
"Oh, no~, I'm waiting for Yubs to arrive for our date and thought I should buy her flowers."
"How romantic of you~ Are you going to buy her roses?"
"Yup! White roses, since she's been telling me how much she likes them these days."
"That's so cute! You both won't miss my performance, right?"
"How could we? I haven't seen you perform in so long and it's Dami's first time watching you sing, so we're both very excited."
"I'll make sure you two love it! I'll get going back home to practice a bit more now. See you later tonight!"
I gave her one last hug but didn't want to pull out soon, because I was worried this would be my last hug with her. I finally decided to let her breathe and saw her slightly confused, but happy at the same time. I waved her goodbye, accidentally bumping into a vase and breaking it.. Of course.
I noticed her facepalm and laugh to herself while I was trying my best to hide as much evidence as possible and ran out. I left the flower shop unscathed and walked back home, but came across Bora's house on the way. I thought it wouldn't hurt if I visited her, she was my best friend after all and I haven't visited her in a while.
I knocked a few times and I was a bit surprised, but elated when both Bora and Siyeon opened the door at the same time. They happily let me in and Bora sat down with me on the couch and Siyeon went to the kitchen to get something to drink while I was chatting with Bora.
"What brings you here Yooh? You didn't get in trouble, right?"
"Oh, nothing like that! I just wanted to visit before my performance. What were you two doing before I got here?"
"Well.. some fun stuff.."
"Why did I even ask.."
"Heh..- Anyway, we were just about to watch a movie actually. Wanna watch with us?"
"Sure, what movie?"
"Aladdin. Singnie's been begging me to watch it since she likes Jasmine or whatever.. Is that fine with you?"
"It's perfect! Let's put it on and wait for Siyeon."
Bora grabbed the remote and got the movie rolling. Right then, Siyeon came back with popcorn and pepsi and sat next to me. I was stuck in the middle and they both hugged each of my arm and I felt them happily watch the movie. I loved the feeling of being close with my friends, but I was scared this would be the last time I was going to see them. I pulled them both closer to me and heard Bora slightly giggle and lean her head on my shoulder, Siyeon following her as well.
