The Bet

After a couple of days of trying to recover Marinette's memories. She had half of her memories and half she couldn't remember.

Marinette sat on the couch. She remembered that day when her and Adrien was doing the project and he kissed her.

She touched her lips and blushed bright red. She honestly wanted adrien to kiss her again. But, her and Adrien wasn't talking since that same day she remembered what happened at the dance.

She sighed. Adrien walked into the living room. He spotted Marinette on the couch. He sighed softly and decided to go back outside.

He turned around and was about to walk away. "Adrien", Marinette called. Adrien stopped. Marinette got up from the couch.

She walked towards him. "kiss me", she blurted out. Adrien's eyes widened. He turned around. "What?", He asked in a shocked tone.

"Kiss me", she repeated. "why?", He asked. "just do it", she answered. He stepped closer and placed a small peck on her lips.

"Just a peck?", She asked with a small pout. Adrien sighed and went closer to her face. He kissed her softly. He ten broke the kiss.

Adrien grabbed his shoulders and pulled him closer. She kissed him again. Adrien moaned as her tongue entered his mouth.

Marinette broke the kiss and looked at him. He blushed redder than a tomato. "Wow", he said. "Sorry...I just missed her lips on mine", he confessed.

Adrien blushed 10 times more. "Are you ok? You look really red", She teased. Adrien looked at her. "Uh y-yeah I'm ok", he stuttered.

Marinette giggled. Adrien smiled, seeing her laugh like that. He hadn't seen her smile in a long time. Not since that incident.

"Marinette", he said. Marinette stopped laughing. "Yes", he looked at her with a serious look on his face. He sighed. "I'm sorry for the way I acted at the dance when I found out that I was a bet. I was just angry I didn't mean to hurt you", he explained.

He took her hand. "Can you ever forgive me?", He asked as he looked into her eyes. Marinette nodded. "Sure", she hugged him tightly.

"Are you sure?", He asked while still hugging her. "Yeah", she answered.

Alya, Nino, and Chloe sat at the dinner table. "So do you think they made up?", Nino asked. "Yeah", alya nodded. "guys I'm sorry", Chloe said in a sorry tone.

"It's ok", Nino said as he placed his hand on her shoulder. "yeah, it's fine", alya agreed. "It was 5 months ago", alay added.

"I know....but I still can't believe I caused her death", Chloe sighed sadly. "Hey girl look at me", alya said.

Chloe looked at her. "You didn't cause anything ok. Of course you were a changed person back then but it's ok now because Marinette's fine", alya explained.

"Yeah...and I'm sure if you ask Marinette if you two are cool she'll say yeah", Nino added. "Yeah", alya said.

"You guys really think so?", Chloe asked. "Yeah", they both say in sync. "Ok", Chloe nodded. She got up and went into Mary's room.

Adrien and Marinette was watching a movie. She knocked on the door and they both looked at her. "do you have a sec Marinette?", She asked politely.

"Ofcourse", Marinette replied with a smile. Adrien left the room to give the two space. Chloe came into the room and sat beside Marinette.

"Marinette I want to apologize", Chloe said. " For what?", Marinette asked as she paused the movie. "For.....causing your death", Chloe answered as tears came to her eyes.

Marinette's softened. She pulled Chloe into a hug. "It's ok Chloe....I'm ok. I forgive you", she said in a tender tone. "Are you sure?", Chloe asked while sobbing.

"Yeah", Marinette whispered. Chloe broke the hug. "I'm so sorry", she said. "It's ok", Marinette whispered as she wiped Chloe's tears.

She hugged her again. Adrien smiled as he realized Chloe and Marinette finally made up. *Finally*, he thought with a smile.
