The Bet

Marinette sat on Adrien's lap and his grip tightened around her waist. "So....Marinette", he said in a tender tone.

"Yes?", She asked softly. "Will. You. Be. My. Girlfriend", he asked. Marinette gasped.

"Uh", Marinette said. She remembers when her and alya made that bet about getting with adrien.

"Uhm", she said nervously. Ok, yes....I made out with him. But do I have to have sex with him? Really?

What if I get pregnant? What am I gonna tell alya? Omg.

I can't do this him....I won't. I refuse to. I'm....I love with him. And I'm not gonna play him like this. There's more to adrien than what's in his pants.

"I... can't I'm sorry", she said as she closed her eyes sadly. She got up off of his lap and sat on the floor. "What? What do you mean?", He asked as he got up off of the bed.

"I mean...I can't be your girlfriend", she said, as she got up from the floor. Adrien gasped. "But we just made out", he said, his voice cracking a little.

"I would never make out with someone if i didn't like them", he explained in a broken tone. "I'm...so sorry. But I can't be your girlfriend", Marinette said in an apologetic tone.

"But why?", He asked, confused. "I can't tell you that. I just can't be with you", Marinette argued. "Why?!", Adrien shouted.

"I can't tell you!!", Marinette shouted. Tears at the rim of her eyes. Adrien gasped. "Fine", he picked up his bag and walked out of the door.

Marinette dropped to her knees and sighed sadly. What have I gotten myself into?

Adrien hopped into his car and drove off. When he got home he continuously asked himself why Marinette didn't want to be with him. Is it the way he dresses?

Is it the way he acts? Is it the way he talks? What was wrong with him? But little did he know....this was the best thing that could happen now.

Because......Marinette didn't want to play him. And she would never tell him because he would just hate her.

And he was the last person she wanted to stop talking with her. And just because of one stupid bet.

What was she gonna do now?
