Marinette looked into the mirror and gasped as she looked at herself. She looked amazing. And it was the first time she actually thought that way about herself.
Ever since a little child Marinette has had self esteem problems. The people around her always beat her down. But this was the first time she actually felt confident in her own skin.
People told her she looked beautiful everyday, but she never saw it. But now she really did.
She hoped adrien would like her dress. She worked really hard on it.

Marinette decided to let her silky black hair down. She puts on makeup not too much tho. She curled her hair and she looked really miraculous.
She smiled at herself. She then heard her phone ping. She looked at her phone and saw she had a text from adrien.
She tapped on it.
Adrien- hey Mary
Marinette blushed at her new nickname.
Marinette- hey adrien
Adrien- you ready?
Marinette- yeah
Adrien- ok be there in 30

Marinette closed the chat and sat on the bed and waited patiently for him. A couple of minutes later Marinette heard a car horn.
She jumped excitedly and looked out of the window. Marinette ran downstairs and opened the door. Adrien smiled at her from the other side.
"Hey Mary", he smiled. "Hey", Marinette replied. "Oh wow....you look stunning", he said while blushing. Marinette giggled, "thanks", adrien took Mary's hand and led her to the car.
She got in and he got in behind her. She smiled at him. "You look pretty handsome", she said. "Oh thanks!!", Adrien exclaimed.
"Hey I brought something for you", he said as he reached into his pocket. "here", he said as he handed her a gold bracelet.
"Oh no adrien...I can't possibly accept this", Marinette said as she took the bracelet from his hand.
"It's for you and I'm not returning it Marinette", adrien said. Marinette smiled, "ok", she placed the bracelet on her hand and it was a perfect fit.
"Thank you so much adrien", adrien smiled. He nodded. He looked out of the window and saw the car approaching the school.
"We're here", he said as he grabbed a hold of her hand. Marinette blushed, feeling his warm hand on hers. The car came to a stop and Adrien opened the door.
He got out and opened the door for her. He then grabbed her hand and led her up the stairs. When they walked in everyone set their eyes on Marinette and Adrien.
Marinette froze, she didn't like when people stared at her. She squeezed Adrien's hand. Adrien got the hint and quickly lead her towards a corner.
Marinette sighed, "thank you so much. I hate when people stare at me", Mary explained. "Don't worry....I'm here", he said in a tender tone.
Marinette softly at him. Alya walked over to Marinette and they both started to talk. Nino and Adrien was talking.
"So dude.....are you and Marinette hooking up?", Nino asked as he wiggled his eyebrows. "Uh I don't know she rejected me", adrien confessed in a sad tone.
"Oh my bad dude", Nino sucked his teeth and rolled his eyes. "It's ok, because she's my date!!", Adrien shouted with a huge smile.
"Nice!!", Nino winked at him and walked over to alya. Alya waved goodbye to Marinette and Adrien walked back to Marinette.
A slow song started to play and Adrien smiled at Marinette. "Hey wanna dance?", He asked as he held his hand out. "S-sure", she replied. She took his hand shyly.
She blushed as his hands wrapped around her waist. She puts her hands around his neck and they started to dance.
While they spinner slowly Marinette closed her eyes. She was enjoying being in his warm embrace. Adrien sighed softly.
"Marinette there's something I need to tell you", he whispered softly in her ear. "What is it?", She asked in a soft tone.
"I-im inlove with you", he confessed. He heaved a sigh of relief. He just had to get that off of his chest. "R-really?", Marinette asked.
She opened her eyes. "Yes Marinette.....I love you. And I want you to be mine", he said, looking deep into her blue sea eyes.
His grasp tightened on her waist. He pulled her closer, closing the small space between them. "Adrien I-i need to tell you something", Marinette said, her eyes troubled.
"On no that won't be necessary. I'll explain it for you" , a voice said. Marinette and Adrien turned towards the voice and Marinette gasped.
