"You two know eachother?"

"Actually, me and Minji used to be in the same friend group. So yeah, I guess we do know eachother."

"That's.. good to know.. Anyway, it'll be my turn soon so I'll go backstage to talk with the staff real quick, okay? See you two in a bit!"

I managed to escape the icy atmosphere that almost occurred and quickly ran off to the backstage. I hope these two will be okay..

I watched Yoohyeon as she made her way to speak with the pub manager of the pub and unfortunately, I was now left to talk with Gahyeon. We were good friends in the past, but something happened that made her and the friend group we were in to ditch me away..

"Can I ask what you're doing with Yoohyeon?"

"Huh? What do you mean what I'm doing with her? She brought me here so I can watch her perform, something wrong with that?"

"I know that's not the case Minji. You and Yoohyeon used to fight, I remember that. I'm sure there's something more that you're trying to do."

"Look, I know you still think we argue and that I hate her like I used to some time ago, but it's not like that anymore. We're friends now."

"It's not like that you say? Just like it wasn't like that with Yunjin, huh?

"This has nothing to do with Yunjin, Gahyeon, and you know it."

"You said the same thing when you two became 'friends'. You said 'I don't hate her anymore' but you were the one who left her to get beaten up by some gang, weren't you?-"

I wasn't having any of this stupid conversation anymore. I pulled her by her wrist outside, where there was no one. I lightly pushed her to the wall and made her stare straight into my eyes. I could tell she was a bit annoyed, but I was too angry to even care.

"Listen Gahyeon, whatever Yunjin told you is a pure, fucking lie. Her little puppet was the one that called me and lied that it was a 'friendly meeting' with just me and Yunjin. I was the one that took the hit, not Yunjin. And this has nothing to do with Yoohyeon. Nothing."

Gahyeon scoffed and pushed me slightly away, walking back towards the door and brushed her hair back. She looked at me one last time before going inside, blurting out a few words.

"Whatever the truth is Minji, just don't hurt Yoohyeon.. please."

There was one minute left before it was my turn to go on stage. I was an anxious mess until I saw Minji running up to me and I think all of my nervousness just faded away for a moment. She moved infront of me and took the necklace on her neck off and spoke while panting.

"Here.. wear this for good luck."

She showed me the jewelry and helped me wear it on my neck. I looked at it closely and noticed it was made of silver and had an emerald carving of a clover. Minji smiled at me and gave me a thumbs up before running back to sit and anxiously play with her shirt's sleeve whole waiting for me. And right then...
