"We'll be careful, I promise. Now if you excuse us, we have a puppy to play with. Bye girls~"

I waved my hand and giggled at the way Siyeon was smiling and waving like a baby. They hung up the call and I turned to Minji who looked like a lost bunny. Ugh.. CUTE. I jokingly squeezed her cheeks which made her look at me in annoyance.

"What was that for?"

"Nothing. You just looked so squishable."

She gagged as a joke at the sudden confession as payback for earlier, which made me smack her arm and scoff. She's such a little brat..

After a while of playing around with Pie and chatting, I called Minji over to me for a little conversation. She let Pie roam around freely and sat next to me, tilting her head.

"Listen here. If I'm going to do delinquent stuff with you, such as running away from school and skipping classes, I need you to do something for me as well."

"Like what?"

"Studying and not getting into serious trouble."

"Are you joking now? I don't even know what we're learning in school."

"Don't worry about that, I'll give you notes and help you study."

"Oh really? So not only are you my guitar coach but my school tutor now too? I might have to pay you from today on."

"As long as it's attention you're paying, I'll be doing it free of charge."

"I'm sure I'll listen carefully if it's you, Hyeonie."

I blinked a few times after recalling what she said and saw her slightly widen her eyes. That was the little nickname I used for myself when I called Pie earlier, it was what my mother used to call me. The way she said it made me remember mom's comforting voice and I couldn't help but smile at the memory. I chuckled at Minji and took out my phone from my pocket, getting a confusing stare from her.

"What are you doing?"

"Taking pictures of course. We should put this in a memory book or something. It's my first time 'breaking the rules' with a friend."

I saw Minji smile and move a bit closer to me. My arm accidentally touched hers and she interwined them together.
That was smooth of you Kim Minji. We took a few photos and I sent them to Minji, getting a little giggle out of her.

"I might print these pictures out and put them near my bed."

"Your bed? Why there?"

"So I can keep having nightmares of that one big nerd named Kim Yoohyeon."

I smacked her arm and she laughed at her own joke. I swear I can never feel at peace whenever I'm with her.. Not that I mind it now..

We went towards her motorbike after feeding Pie and taking more pictures of eachother and the beach. I thought of our next destination that might possibly be Minji's favorite for today, so I tapped her shoulder to get her attention.

"How about I take us to the next spot with the motorbike?"

"Can you even ride one?"

"No, but you'll teach me midway."

"That's not how it works, though. You don't have a license and you might get us killed for all I know."
