"Is there a number we can call? for your parents? Mike asked the scared girl who was sitting on the couch in his basement.
"What happened to your hair?... Do you have cancer!? Dustin remarked Maybelle pinched his arm making him squeak.
"shut up, you don't ask someone that" Maybelle scolded
"Did you Runaway?! Lucas asked but yelled
"Are you in some kind of trouble? Mike asked
Lucas reached a hand out to touch her but Maybelle slapped his hand away and kneeled beside the girl "Are you alright? Maybelle softly asked not trying to scare the girl
"I bet she's deaf" Dustin wondered clapping his hands together loudly and the girl flinched at the random noise.
Maybelle quickly turned around facing Dustin glaring down at him"Knock it off," Maybelle scolded before turning around toward Mike "She's scared and cold, get her some clean clothes" Maybelle suggested Maybelle turned towards Lucas and Dustin "And you two behave" Maybelle added.
The boys quietly nodded. Mike handed Maybelle a clean pair of clothes Maybelle quickly thanked Mike "Here, these clothes are for you it's okay I promise we won't hurt you" Maybelle spoke softly as the girl cautiously took the clothes, the girl then rubbed the folded clothes over her face.
she stood up reaching for the bottom of her shirt and attempting to take it off Maybelle's eyes widen "No. no" Mike and Maybelle said in unison, Mike puts his hand on her bent arm to stop her from taking her shirt off.
"Woah!! Lucas yelled
"oh my god, oh my god! Dustin started freaking out
"Woah! Lucas shouted again
Maybelle could only roll her eyes with a frustrated sigh
"over there is a bathroom for privacy get it? Mike tried explaining she calmed down and walked to the bathroom trailing after Mike.
"This is mental" Dustin concluded
"Maybe?? no no, it's for sure" Lucaus shook his head
"At least she can talk" Mike shrugged coming back from the bathroom
"she said no and yes your three-year-old sister can say more" Lucas whisper yelled
"she just tried getting naked," Dustin said
"she just went... Dustin acted the scene out pulling his arms up like she almost did he kept repeating it until he knocked his hat off his head.
Maybelle picked up his hat before slapping it harshly back on his head
"I bet she escaped from Penhurst," Lucas said
"From where? Mike asked
The nuthouse in Kerly County" Lucas said
"you got any family there? Dustin asked
"bite me! seriously though, think about it that explained her shaved hair and why she was so..."
"That's enough you three, this is a serious Will still missing and we found a girl who ran away from somewhere, Maybelle reminded them.
"I think we should tell you, Mom" Dustin suggested to Mike
"Are you crazy?! Mike asked
"you think that wise all three of you going to be in trouble, and ground for the rest of your lives" Maybelle explained
"Okay here's the plan, she sleeps here tonight" Mike suggested
"Woah, Woah, Woah! you're letting a Girl sleep at your house?!?! Lucas asked
