Cathy packed the last of her bags and loaded them into her new vehicle. It was the last day of the spring semester and everyone was getting ready to go home for the summer. Kiara had already left a day ahead of her. Kiara's mother had taken her to South Korea to visit her family. Cathy thought it was so cool being half Asian and Black, to be a part of two completely different worlds. Kiara's mother had married Cathy's uncle who'd passed away a couple of years ago when his heart suddenly stopped one day. He was only 40.

She sighed and smooth back her hair as the wind blew through it. She looked around the campus one last time as she stood in front of her dorm. She knew she would be back soon, but she was going to miss it. It was like a second home to her. She was going to miss seeing her friends every day, although she was a little worried about Lee. Her close friendship with him had become a little tense. He'd stayed away from her as much as possible and didn't hang out with Brent as much. When she finally confronted him about it, he told her he was now in Brent's shoes when she was with Paul. He didn't tell her anything else. Cathy had no idea how to respond to that. So, she left him alone for a month. After that, Lee had come to her and told her he didn't want their friendship to be over and that he still needed her in his life. She was happy to be friends with him again, but Brent didn't really trust him, although he grudgingly put up with their relationship. After all, Lee was his best friend. He trusted Lee not to step out of line with Cathy.

She smiled at Brent who grinned and winked at her as he loaded her last suitcase in the trunk of her car. She couldn't help but think about spring break. Brent had taken her to his vacation home in Lake Tahoe like he promised. He'd also kept his promise on other things...she couldn't help but blush as she thought of all the things he'd done to her, taught her, showed her, over and over.

Brent grinned and leaned down whispering in her ear. "I know where your mind is at. I love how your eyes glass over every time you think of all the naughty things I did to you and how much you loved it..."

"Cathy! What are you going to do over the summer?" Dana and Sheila suddenly walked up to her causing her to jump and whirl around to face them.

"I'm staying with my Mom," she told them hoping they wouldn't ask why she was blushing so hard. She cleared her throat and pushed Brent away. "What are you two doing?"

"We're going to Paris," Dana and Sheila said at the same time and squealed in excitement.

Rich people, Cathy thought. "Wow, that's amazing!"

"You want to come with us?" Dana asked.

Brent frowned and stood between them. "Hell no! She's not coming with you. Those guys over there will be all over her. If she wants to go to Paris, I'll be the one taking her," Brent said.

"Possessive as usual. How do you put up with it?" Dana asked, but she couldn't help but smile.

"I think it's sweet," Sheila said.

Cathy pushed Brent out of the way so she could face her two best friends. "It's ok, I want to spend time with my Mom," Cathy told them. "She lives alone, and she still misses Dad, I worry about her."

"Awww," Dana said.

"So, how did Tyrese take it when you told him you were going to Paris?" Cathy asked her.

"I didn't....hopefully, he won't find out until we're on the plane," Dana grinned and held a finger to her lip.

"Ohhh, you wrong! I'm telling him now," Brent said taking out his phone.

"Brent you better not!" Dana made a grab for his phone, Brent held it up so she couldn't get it.

"Deja vu moment," Cathy said watching them.
