Brooke: So, you had quite the day yesterday, Beanie.
Coral: Yeah, I did. I'm just happy that everyone's safe now. (The sun is starting to go down as they sit together on the roof of Pearl's Mansion. Coral is holding V's hoodie.)
Coral: You're feeling okay, right? That cure we gave you isn't causing any bad side effects?
Brooke: I'm fine, Coral. I'm feeling great. (They talk.)
Coral: Good. I realized a little while ago that the cure had come from the Octarians, so I wasn't sure if it had a bad effect on inklings or anything.
Brooke: Nope! I feel like my old self again! (They smile at each other.)
(They sit silently for a minute.)
Brooke: You really impressed me yesterday, Coral. You were completely outnumbered, yet you still came to save me. To save all of us. If it had been me in your place, and you were Sanitized, I don't know if I could've fought. (Brooke lies down.)
Coral: I know you. If you had been in my place, you would've marched right up to Micki and Nicki and you would've beat 'em up until they let us go. (Coral slightly laughs.)
Brooke: I would hope so. But still, having to face almost all of the agents like that would've been terrifying.
Coral: Alright, I have to admit, it was really scary. Part of myself wanted to turn back, but I knew I couldn't. (Coral lies down next to Brooke.)
Brooke: And then you were our hero, and you rescued us.
Coral: A hero? I wouldn't say that.
Brooke: No?
Coral: I mean, I'm not exactly... I'm not exactly "hero material". (Coral turns her head away.)
Brooke: I'm not sure I really know what you're talking about. (She's confused.)
Coral: Well, I'm not like Callie, Marie, or Echo, and how they trained for a long time to become amazing fighters. I'm not like Marina, Kiku, or Kiyoshi, and how they all have special skills or knowledge that makes them perfect for the job. And I'm nowhere near as headstrong as you, Pearl, or Juliuz. (She speaks.)
Coral: And I'm not secretly royalty, but still decided to help a few stressed-out agents, like a certain hot guy we know. (She slightly blushes.)
Coral: I'm none of that kind of stuff. And it's not like I had a typical "background" for a hero, either. After everything we've been through, no one would think that I could be a hero and, well... (She looks back up.)
(Coral shakes her head.)
Coral: I know I'm not hero material. But I can still do the right thing. (She shrugs.)
Coral: And saving you was the right thing to do, so I felt like I needed to keep going. (She glances at Brooke.)
(Brooke smiles.)
Brooke: I think that's what would make you the truest hero out of all of us, Beanie.
Coral: Really?
Brooke: Of course! You could leave all the work to the people who are expected to do their job, but you don't want to just stand by. You wanted to step up. We need more people in the world that have that kind of mindset. (Brooke sits up.)
Coral: Well, thanks. (She smiles.)
(Brooke glances down at Coral as if she has something on her mind.)
Brooke: So, I don't know if you're wanting me to bring this up, but about what happened the last time we saw each other before the battle-
Coral: Oh! (Coral sits up. Brooke looks awkward.)
