Lily and Mark are playing Splatoon 2 and begin to wonder 'What if Splatoon 2 is the future of earth'. A year later World War Three happens and Lily and Mark both go to sleep and wake up under piles of rubble. When they get out of the pile they see the all too familiar sight of Inkopolis Plaza. Read to find out how they survive as the only humans in a world full of mutant sea creatures! This will get updated whenever I have available time.

Four Oceanics, sent to the past by the ancient Rainmakers, changed the course of history for each of their races. But once you play with fire, there is no containing it's flames. A reality scorched by war, a resistance led by three unlikely individuals, and the soon-to-be discovered prospect of harnessing the Rainmakers' power. All it would take is the for a young Octoling to discover a remote island in the middle of nowhere, and the course and fate of the world would fall in Squidbeak's hands once more. The stakes have changed though, with things more important than the world at a knife's edge, will Squidbeak be able to navigate this insanity induced nightmare, or fall into oblivion?

New cover is designed by Tumblr user @nalina-nw If you had to summarize the previous five years of your life into one word, to encapsulate squidnapping, murder, imprisonment, survival, and forced evolution in order to see the next day, it would simply be "torment." You were supposed to just be the average inkling, Y/n L/n, known by many as the secretive, small-time singer Seaside, known best for his hidden identity and performances by the street, in garages, bars, wherever one could stop to listen and give money. Those days came, and before you could learn to appreciate them, they were gone, just like you were that fateful day you woke up away from home, just like the day you were banished to the oceans and the dangers of the planet 4546B, and just like the day you finally returned home, five long years later, to a world once familiar... In case it's not obvious, this is the rewrite to A World Once Familiar. I plan on expanding upon the main character (who I call Harbor Maria in place of Y/n L/n), Agent 3, and improve several scenes, as well as give the whole story some much-needed polish and a touch of my more modern writing.

The FinalFest is here and our favorite Agents are ready to have fun and lead their team to victory. While Four is the most competitive, Eight just wants to live the moment and enjoy the "last" Splatfest. For her part, Three, breaks her head trying to convince herself to take the first step, or not (And of course, to kill Four). And of course, everyone's favorite pop duo (And her sisters by name) are planning to give it a push.
