In the Present...

Coral: And now for the Ranked Battle stages! (Coral and Brooke are on the big screen in Inkopolis Square, giving the news.)

Coral: I remember learning to drive here! So fun!

Brooke: "Scary" is the correct term, I think. (They're on air inside their studio. Moray Towers is lit up on multiple screens behind the cameras.)

Brooke: And here's the League Battle stages! (She talks from the set.)

Coral: Ugh, I can never find diamonds here, even if I look hard!

Brooke: Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's just a salt mine. (They talk about Piranha Pit.)

Coral: Well, it looks like our time is up for now!

Brooke: Until next time... (They begin to sign off.)

Coral and Brooke: SEA you next time!

Random inkling: And... cut! That's a wrap!

Coral: Alright! (The cameras shut off and a crew of inklings and jellyfish stand behind them.)

Producer: Coral, Brooke, great work today.

Coral: Thank you, sir! It was fun! We'll see you tomorrow! (She pulls on a coat with a smile.)

Brooke: Oh, hey, Coral, you ready? The girls are waiting for us at the mall.

Coral: Yep! Let's go! (Brooks glances at her phone and Coral pulls on a winter hat.)

Brooke: Oh, look at all the snow! It's beautiful!

Coral: It's fun, sure, but it's too colorless! And- sweet rings of calamari- it's so cold! (They walk out of the studio. Brooke looks up at the snow gleefully. Coral shivers.)

Coral: Whoa, whoa, whoa! (She comically starts slipping on the ground.)

Brooke: I got ya, Beanie.

Coral: Thanks! Snow's a bit too slippery, too! (Brooke catches Coral.)

Brooke: Who cares about the slippery part? Snow looks clean, it's fun, and it's perfect for wearing earmuffs! (Brooke puts on earmuffs.)

Coral: Yeah, I guess. You look adorable in your earmuffs, by the way.

Brooke: Thanks!

Coral: Yep! Now, let's get to the mall before my nose freezes off. (They walk away together.)

(Coral and Brooke arrive at the mall.)

Coral: Oh, I see them! Hey, girls! (She waves at a table of all the female agents. Some of them wave back.)

Coral: Sorry we're late! We got caught up at the studio!

Marina: No worries, it happened to us a lot when we had your jobs. (Coral pulls up a chair next to Marina.)

Kiku: We were just talkin' about a new store! I got some better clothes from there today!

Coral: Cool! They're so cute! (She sits across the table, motioning to her shirt.)

Kiku: Thank you! (Kiku looks adorably cheery.)

Pearl: So... what's up with you two? Anything interesting going on? (Pearl leans over. She sits next to Brooke.)

Brooke: Nothing much. We're kind of going on with our "normal" lives right now, I guess. (Brooke shrugs.)

Callie: Pahaha! There's nothing normal about your lives! There's nothing normal about any of our lives, and you know it!
