Technical Difficulties (A Splatoon Script)

Part 4 - Friends, Freedom, and Other Things I've Fought For

(They dash towards him.)

(He grabs Marie by the muzzle and pulls her closer.)

Sound effect: Click! (He quickly undoes the muzzle.)

Sound effect: Shwing! (He narrowly dodges Callie as she swings her weapon down at him, though she stumbles.)

(He pulls her muzzle off.)

Sound effect: Whack! (Marie swings her sniper gun at him, but he ducks and Marie winds up hitting Callie in the head instead.)

(Callie throws her weapon, but only hits Marie.)

Captain: Girls, it's me! Your grandfather! Come on, you can fight the sanitation! I know you, you're both stronger than this!

Both: Aoooo... Uuuaghhhh... (He stands over them as they're both knocked over.)

Captain: Girls? (The two start to get up.)

Both: Hhhrrraaaaugh! (They both appear monster-like without the muzzles covering them.)

(The Captain is surprised and stands still as he holds the first vial filled with the cure.)

Sound effect: Slap!

Captain: No! (The vial is slapped out of his hand.)

Sound effect: tink- tink- tink (The vial lands in the middle of the battle.)

(The Captain tries to find the vial through the fight.)

Rosie: I got it! Don't worry! (Cakepop holds up the vial above the fight.)

Coral: Great work, Rosie! Can you try to get some of it to the agents? (Coral continues to fight.)

Sound effect: fumble fumble

Rosie: I can try, but it's hard to hold this thing! These hands are weird! (She fumbles with the tiny vial in the giant robotic hands.)

Coral: I'm sure you can do it! But if you need help, I can always take it. (Micki watches Cakepop.)

Sound effect: Snatch!

Rosie: Eep! (She grabs the vial from Rosie.)

Rosie: Hey! That's for our friends!

Micki: No, it's not! (Cakepop looks angry as Micki runs away.)

Micki: Octavio made them for me!（╯°□°）╯︵( .O.) And Nicki! And all the other Sanitized Octarians! He made them so WE can finally go back to our normal lives! (She grips the vial.)

Coral: But we need them to cure our friends! We need them to be free of you!

Micki: Yipe! (Coral goes after Micki.)

Micki: But I was needing it first!

Coral: And what are you going to do once you look normal again? Huh? (They get into a battle between inkbrushes. The second vial is pointing out of Coral's pocket.)

Micki:! (She spots the second vial.)

Micki: Yoink! ╚(≧▽≦)=┐

Coral: Hey, give it back! (Micki grabs the vial.)

Sound effects: !!!

Nicki: [thought] What is going ON down there? (She glances out the room's window.)

Nicki: *sigh* [thought] She's been down there for less than a minute, and she's already running away. Pathetic. (She glances down at the battle, where Micki's still holding onto the vials and running.)
